Ah!! It’s Mickey Rourke dressed up for Halloween! The Oscar-nominated actor/wrestler/boxer had his face painted all in white and scared some club-goers outside Voyeur nightclub in L.A. last night. It looks like he may have been going for a Joker costume, but definitely isn’t the style Joker costume everyone wore last year. Not surprising that Mickey would get more creative — he’s never been one to follow a crowd.

Jennifer Aniston: America’s Favorite Dog Sitter
June 4th, 2009
Forget that whole "Forbes Most Powerful Celebrity blah blah blah" list that Angelina Jolie recently topped. A new, significantly more important poll has just been released that put Jennifer Aniston on top… as the celebrity you’d most trust to watch your pets.
Okay, so maybe it’s not the same.
Regardless, the folks over at PawNation.com have spoken and, in a landslide victory, named the Marley & Me star as the movie star they would most trust to feed and care for their pets while they were away.
Aniston, who is often photographed walking her own pups, earned a whopping 70% of the votes, beating out other pet-friendly celebs like Pam Anderson, Nicole Richie and Mickey Rourke.
So while you might want to trust Angelina with watching your child while you’re away at a wedding for the weekend, it looks like Jen is the one you want to leave your canine companion with.

Mickey Rourke Sleeps With His Bird
May 11th, 2009 / Author: OK! Staff
Mickey Rourke is moving on after the death of his beloved Chihuahua, Loki, who went to doggie heaven in February.
Although the little dog was often spotted at events with the Oscar nominee, 56, the animal-loving actor has a menagerie of other pets primed to shine.
“I don’t really spoil them,” the friendly star tells me. “I just lost Loki, which was really heavy-duty. I’ve got four other ones, and I didn’t want to go out and replace her, so what I did is I like cockatoos. They have an organization in Utah that takes abandoned animals, and we just got a really great cockatoo that’s named Sunny that’s been passed around through, like, six different homes, so we took Sunny and she’s really cool.”
What nice things does he do for her?
“Just relax,” he tells me. “I like the fact that Sunny’s a bird, and I only had her a week, and she sleeps in bed with me.”
When Mickey’s not playing around with his furry-and-feathered friends, he makes time to talk motorcycles with Brad Pitt.
“I can’t afford to buy the motorcycles that he buys,” The Wrestler star says. “He buys really expensive ones. We both love bikes, but we are supposed to get together and look at some bikes as soon as we can find the right time to do it.”
Another pal is Lindsay Lohan. How is he helping her through her difficult times?
“I think she’s gonna get her s*** together, but I wish her all the luck in the world,” he tells me. “Everybody falls down, you’ve just gotta get back up and put it back together again.”
Would he star in a movie with her?
“I wouldn’t rule it out. I think she’s talented, you know.”

Wrestling with his Weight
April 10th, 2009
He’s Mickey Rourke, and he’ll box if he wants to – even if it’s at Wrestlemania.
A few weeks ago I went back to Houston, TX (for the first time since I moved from there to New York nearly two decades ago) and I met Ajaz Akhtar, whose mom had worked with my aunt at Microbiology Specialists Inc. for decades and now AJ does as well. Speaking to him in the lab he expressed his desire to get out from behind the microscopes and instead behind a camera. WWE’s Wrestlmania hitting Houston shortly thereafter provided the perfect place to throw him into the action.
After being tossed into a photo pit to do a bit of wrestling himself against all of the other photogs vying for the perfect shot, AJ caught a few fights. He said professional WWE wrestler Chris Jericho, 38, knocked out legends like Ric Flair, Roddy Piper and Ricky Steamboatbit but, “bit off more than he could chew by challenging Mickey Rourke to come into the ring and fight him.” Mickey chose to box rather than show off any skills he may have retained from his training on the set of “The Wrester” and AJ said he had Jericho on the mat after a punch to the jaw. But, is he strong enough for “Iron Man 2” yet? When AJ asked the Oscar nominee he answered honestly, ““No, because I walk around at about 192 pounds and had to get up to 230 for "The Wrestler." For "Iron Man 2" I have to go back underneath 192 and it ain’t that easy taking the weight off. I’m still trying to get in shape for Iron Man 2”.

Mickey Rourke is King of Independent Spirit Awards Ring
February 21st, 2009 / Author: OK! Staff
Even if Mickey Rourke doesn’t win the Oscar on Sunday night, he has earned a little bit of loving this weekend from the Hollywood community, as he took home the Best Male Lead trophy at the Independent Spirit Awards for his work in The Wrestler.
In a hilarious, profanity-filled acceptance speech, the controversial actor dedicated his award to his recently deceased dog, Loki, and singled at his pal Eric Roberts as the next actor deserving of a comeback vehicle.
"Eric Roberts is the f***ing man and he deserves, like i got, a second chance," Mickey told the audience.
The year’s comeback kid also made a joking (we hope) threat to The Office’s Rainn Wilson, who had donned Mickey’s Wrestler gear earlier in the ceremony to perform a song parody of the film. "I’m gonna beat your ass when I get outta here," he hollered toward the backstage area.
Mickey’s speech inspired the night’s final presenter, Alec Baldwin, to say, "I want back into the movie business so bad… I gotta get dog, start working out, drop a lotta f-bombs on live TV."
Additionally, The Wrestler won the night’s big prize, Best Feature, and Best Cinematography for Maryse Alberti.
One of the night’s other notable winners was Milk, which was honored with wins for James Franco in the Best Supporting Male category and Dustin Lance Black for First Screenplay.
In his acceptance speech, Black said he hopes the success of the film will help bring the issue of gay rights to the forefront, saying, "It’s time to achieve [Harvey Milk's] dream and have full and equal rights for gay people across America."
On a lighter note, Best Supporting Female winner Penélope Cruz regaled the audience with an amusing tale of how it was more important for Vicky Cristina Barcelona director Woody Allen to deal with the sudden appearance of a mole on his hand than it was to be on-set for the day she shot her much-hyped makeout scene with Scarlett Johansson.
Speaking of Penélope, when her fellow Supporting Female nominee Rosie Perez took the stage later to announce the Best Foreign Film winner, she declared, "I just wanna say that I hate Penélope Cruz… Congratulations, you fly bitch!"
