Hilary Duff’s Boyfriend Aims to Please

Hilary Duff seems to have found the perfect boyfriend in Mike Comrie: athletic, dedicated to charity and romantic!
At an event for Blessings in a Backpack on Oct. 24 at P.S. 15, Roberto Clemente Elementary School, Hilary spoke openly about how excited she is to have found someone to share her passion for charity with.
"I am so thankful for that day that I met him and all the people we’ve gotten to feed together," she says of working with Mike on the charity, which distributes food to needy kids before they go home for the weekend.
Not only does Mike, a hockey player for the New York Islanders, share her love of helping others, he’s also got a way with words when it comes to the Duffster.
"He does special things all the time and surprises me," she tells OK!. "On my birthday, there was a very small group of us, and he got up and read a poem. It was like a funny poem, it wasn’t like super serious. It was so cute!"
Where can we sign up for one of those kind of guys?

• Cameron Diaz smiling and radiant as she breakfasted at Cafe Montana, Montana Avenue, in Santa Monica, on Thursday morning with three companions. She was wearing jeans and a blue tunic and carried a crocheted pale yellow purse which she rocked with cute gold flats. Cracking jokes as usual and being lovely to the staff, Cameron munched on her breakfast burrito which she washed down with a full fat latte! No diets for this athlete!
• Adrien Grenier overheard inviting friends to continue celebrating the longest day of the year — June 21 — at his Hollywood Hills home following the Stride Gum "Ridiculously Long Lasting" celebration at Crown Bar in L.A.
• Sarah Michelle Gellar drinking Barefoot Bubbly at the wrap party for Veronika Decides to Die at the Hotel on Rivington.
• Hilary Duff dressed down in her Sweetees Lou Dress with boyfriend Mike Comrie at Katsuya in Studio City, Calif. for a low-key lunch date on June 14.
• Wilmer Valderrama, spotted with a large group of friends, on the main VIP stage of the lavish LAX Nightclub taking shots of Patron and cheered to the night with Grey Goose cocktails.
• Martha Stewart sipping hot tea and sampling dim sum at Wei Fun in East Hampton.
Denied: Hilary Duff Not Tying the Knot!

Hilary Duff had a whirlwind weekend promoting her film War, Inc. at the Tribeca Film Festival, and her hockey star beau, Mike Comrie, was on hand to support her.
On April 27, the couple dined with Hil’s mom, Susan, at the NYC eatery STK, where they cuddled while nibbling on shrimp cocktails.
The following night, Hilary,20, and Mike,27, attended the Tenjune Cadillac Lounge. "Mike looked protective of his girl," a partygoer tells OK!. "But Hilary was all smiles; You can tell she loves Mike."
Still, don’t believe the reports that these two will walk down the aisle anytime soon. Hilary insists to OK!, "I’m not engaged!"

Hilary Duff Talks Marriage, Body Image

Hilary Duff has no problem admitting she’s very much in love with her boyfriend of a few months, New York Islanders’ hockey star Mike Comrie, whom she met on a trip to the Adirondack Mountains. But when it comes to talk of marriage, the actress says she’s not rushing to walk down the aisle.
“I’m definitely not ready to get married,” the 20-year-old cutie confesses in the January issue of Cosmopolitan, on sale Dec. 11. “I think a reason that people in this business get married young is that they feel like everything comes to them sooner in life. It’s normal to be like ‘Okay, what’s next?’”
In the interview Hilary also discusses her body image, admitting, "There definitely was a time, about a year and a half ago, when I was pretty obsessed with my body and my weight." However, the actress says she’s outgrown the figure fixation. "It’s not attractive when girls get superskinny. Guys don’t like it. Girls don’t like you as much. You lose some happiness when that’s all you think about."

Toronto is such a cute city! One thing I love the most is that like NYC, it’s so walkable, full of shops, sidewalk cafes and has a great mix of modern and historic architecture. This week it also has a healthy dose of celebrity.A few quick notes so far…-
Terrance Howard’s movie with Jodie Foster premiered at the festival opening night. The film is called “The Brave One,” but on the red carpet the Oscar winner said, “I’m a chicken,” and admitted he was afraid of the dark till he was 25-years-old!
-I think Hilary Duff is staying at the hotel where I’m staying. Walking back I saw her and her Candian NFL-player beau Mike Comrie getting into an SUV. I like that couple. Hopefully having a good guy like him has softened the blow of seeing her longtime boyfriend Joel Madden about to become a father with his new girlfriend Nicole Richie.
-I’m told George Clooney, who’s promoting his film “Michael Clayton” at the festival, is bringing a date - 28-year-old Sarah Larson. The pretty brunette was also on George’s arm at the recent Venice and Deuville film festivals and had become his regular companion since they met Sarah while she was waitressing at MOON Nightclub in Las Vegas. George’s friend Matt Damon met his wife Luciana when she was a waitress in Miami - and then he married her, had a kid and has looked utterly blissful since. But, is Sarah a film festival fling -or the girl who can convert George from his longtime confirmed bachelor status.
