The ladies were all gussied-up for the event last night at L.A.’s exclusive Chateau Marmont. Alexander Skarsgard, Clint Eastwood, Emile Hirsch and Morgan Freeman represented the men on the red carpet.

Harrison Ford For President?
October 23rd, 2008
Should Harrison Ford ever tire of making movies, he could have a political future: In a poll on Moviefone.com, fans voted him the #1 movie president they’d actually like to see in office, with 24 percent of the 1.1 million votes.
Harrison kicked hijackers’ asses in 1997’s Air Force One, showing his fictional commander-in-chief could handle just about anything that came his way, something that fans might be seeking in these troubling economic times.
After Harrison, Morgan Freeman grabbed 15 percent of fan votes for his turn as the president who has to save the entire planet from a comet in Deep Impact.
"It seems everybody is looking for a commander-in-chief who can come in and take command," said Moviefone editor-in-chief Scott Robson, according to Reuters. "Our readers voted with their hearts at a time when you have the economy going down the tubes, but in an ideal world it would be great to have a president who can kick some ass."
Check out the top five below:
1. Harrison Ford - Air Force One (1997)
2. Morgan Freeman - Deep Impact (1998)
3. Michael Douglas - The American President (1995)
4. Bill Pullman - Independence Day (1996)
5. Kevin Kline - Dave (1993)

Morgan Freeman has been discharged from a Tennessee hospital nearly one week after flipping his car in a serious crash. A spokesperson at The Regional Medical Center in Memphis confirmed the discharge but gave no other details.
The Dark Knight star told ET, "I left the hospital today just after 12 noon, Memphis time. I’m doing very well. I feel real good. I just really, I thank the staff at Elvis Presley [medical facility] and many, many thanks to my many well-wishers. It’s great to know people care about you."
The Oscar-winning actor, 71, was treated for a broken arm, elbow and shoulder damage sustained in Sunday night’s accident in Miss. He underwent surgery on Monday to reconnect nerves and to repair damage to his left arm and hand. Freeman’s passenger, Demaris Meyer, was also injured in the crash.
On Wednesday, Freeman’s lawyer confirmed to Access Hollywood that the actor is divorcing with his wife of 24 years, Myrna Colley-Lee and that "for legal and practical purposes, have been separated since December of 2007." The couple own a home in Tallahatchie County, Miss.

Dark Knight star Morgan Freeman is divorcing his wife of 24 years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee.
The Oscar-winner’s lawyer and business partner Bill Luckett confirmed to Access Hollywood that the pair "are involved in a divorce action and, for legal and practical purposes, have been separated since December of 2007."
This announcement follows Freeman’s car accident on Sunday, in which the car he was driving in rural Mississippi went off the road and flipped over. The passenger was identified as Demaris Meyer, who has been described as a friend.
Freeman has undergone surgery for a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage and is expected to make a full recovery.
Morgan Freeman Remains in Serious Condition
August 5th, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff
Morgan Freeman remains in serious condition at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tn. with a broken arm and elbow after the car he was driving flipped over on a Mississippi highway Sunday night, says hospital spokeswoman Kathy Stringer. According to The AP, Stringer also said that passenger Demaris Meyer, 48, wasn’t in the hospital’s registry, which could mean that she simply requested her name not be listed for privacy reasons.
However, Morgan’s publicist Donna Freeman says that both the Dark Knight star, 71, and Meyer, 48, were at the hospital on Monday night and in "good spirits."
UPDATE: Morgan is recovering well after undergoing a surgical procedure Monday night to reconnect nerves and repair damage to his left arm and hand, according to his publicist.
One of the first responders on the scene, retired police officer Bill Rogers, said the two passengers were unconscious when he first got to Meyer’s 1997 Nissan Maxima after the crash.
"Mr. Freeman thought he may have gone to sleep but he wasn’t sure," Rogers said. "He didn’t know what happened." While Morgan was being loaded into the helicopter to be airlifted to the hospital, Rogers added that he "was more concerned about others than himself."
The accident is still under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol, according to Sgt. Ben Williams, and drugs and alcohol do not seem to be involved in the crash.
Morgan Freeman Injured in ‘Serious’ Car Crash
August 4th, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff
Morgan Freeman has been injured in a "serious" car crash.
Cops say that the 71-year-old Dark Knight star was in a one-car smash in the small town of Ruleville in Mississippi at around 11:30 last night.
The Oscar-winner was airlifted to a hospital in Memphis, Tn.
UPDATE: Freeman’s rep confirms the actor broke his shoulder and his arm, but is expected to make "a good recovery."
Freeman’s passenger has been identified as Demaris Meyer. The actor was driving Meyer’s 1997 Nissan Maxima eastbound on Highway 32 when he ran off the edge of the road and flipped the car. Authorities say both were wearing their seat belts.
According to the AP, when a passerby whipped out a cell phone at the scene of the crash and tried to snap a picture, Freeman joked, "No freebies, no freebies."
Clay McFerrin, editor of Sun Sentinel in Charleston, said he arrived at the accident scene on Mississippi Highway 32 soon after it happened about 5 miles west of Charleston, not far from where Freeman owns a home with his wife.
”They had to use the jaws of life to extract him from the vehicle,” McFerrin said. ”He was lucid, conscious. He was talking, joking with some of the rescue workers at one point.”
Cops say alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the crash. There’s no word yet on the condition of Freeman’s passenger.
Morgan Freeman Says ‘Keep Your Legs Crossed’
April 27th, 2008
Morgan Freeman brings daughter Deena out for a night on the town.
“If you’re going to have a special relationship, let it be with your child,” the 70-year-old Oscar winner says. “She’s holding my hand because she’s my guide. Eventually she’s just going to snap away and that’s what’s going to happen.”
What’s the best advice he’s given her?
“Keep her legs crossed and her hair fluffed out in back,” Morgan says.
What’s the best dating advice she’s received from him?
“In this day and age, you’ve definitely gotta test them out first,” Deena says. “People are so sketchy. You don’t really know. Sometimes you’re better off by yourself. No need to rush. Just take it easy.”
