There will be shoes, of course. And Michelle Obama — sort of. But what about Mr. Big?
As we await the Sex and the City sequel — due in May 2010 — we couldn’t help but wonder about all those rumors burning up the Internet. The storyline reportedly relocates Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) to London, where hubby Big (Chris Noth) takes a job — and may or may not cheat on Carrie, who may or may not be pregnant.
One problem: earlier reports indicated Mr. Big had yet to sign on to the project, as an insider told OK!, “He wants a piece of the profits. He knows the plots don’t work without him.”
Rest easy, ladies and gents, E! News reports that SJP herself confirmed that he has indeed signed on (We can practically feel the air from relieved sighs). She assured E! at last night’s Wonderful World premiere during the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC.
As for the baby story line, Sarah Jessica is in the dark as well, saying, "I don’t know anything yet."
So where does the first lady come in? Charlotte (Kristin Davis) says of a dress, “I got this at J. Crew,” explaining that she saw it on Mrs. Obama and “had to have it.” Last, Samantha (Kim Cattrall) gets buried in the economic collapse, so maybe there won’t be shoes after all.
Mark your calendars and get your cosmo shakers ready, Sex and the City fans: Carrie Bradshaw (aka Sarah Jessica Parker) and her oh-so-fashionable ladies who brunch will be back for the second installation of the movie in 2010.
EOnline.com reports that the sequel will be in theaters on May 28 next year, according to box-office trackers, Exhibitor Relations.
Up against the girls and their Manolos during the Memorial Day weekend blockbuster race will be Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, otherwise known as that movie that Jake Gyllenhaal had to grow his hair out for.
Seems like it’ll be ladies’ choice: Pretty pretty purses or sigh-worthy rippling abs? Your call.
It seems like Carrie and the rest of the Sex and the City girls aren’t quite ready to hang up their Oscar de la Renta dresses!
On the heels of the massively-hyped and highly-anticipated Sex and the City: The Movie, fans will soon get another dose of the fantastic foursome.
After being asked if there will be a sequel to the box office hit, Kim Cattrall replied with an emphatic, "Yes there will!" on Britain’s The Paul O’Grady show.
Previous reports quoted a spokesperson for New Line Cinema saying that the studio was "in negotiations for a sequel," but it seems those talks have reached a solid conclusion… more sex, more city, and probably, more Mr. Big!
Kim had previously said that she was happy to return to being a part of the SATC family of characters, so it’s no surprise she’s excited about the sequel!
"That’s how I am like Samantha — I just want to do it again. Insatiable!" she told Entertainment Weekly before the first movie debuted.
Cattrall had recently told reporters, "The movie was so much fun to do and be part of again. I hope we’re going to do it again."
Good news for Miley Cyrus fans: in a move sure to make Disney lovers happy, Hannah Montana: The Movie’s release date has been shifted from May 1 to April 10, according to a press release from Disney.
While Miley mania seems to be everywhere, this will be the young star’s first feature-length film based on the Hannah Montana character she plays on the Disney show. The movie will see Hannah travel across the country from L.A. to her home in Tennessee.
Instead of being up against Hugh Jackman in Wolverine in the box-office race, Miley will now be competing with fellow Disneyite Zac Efron, whose movie 17 Again comes out the following week.
It’s been announced that Justin Timberlake will film in a new movie about baseball. In it he will portray a fictional Hooks minor league baseball player. The Open Road is currently being shot in Hammond, La.
The film revolves around a young man trying to reconnect with his dad, while his mom is home sick. Mary Steenburgen and Jeff Bridges are also in the film.
Justin has also starred in Alpha Dog, Black Snake Moan and Shrek The Third with his ex-girlfriend, Cameron Diaz.
After chronicling the on-set lives of the Sex and the City movie for months now, we here at OK! are proud to bring you the trailer for the upcoming film.
It looks glamorous and sexy and sparkly. It features one of those infamous Carrie Bradshaw voice-overs. We also can’t forget that there seems to be lots of hot clothes, romance and schmaltz.
And we wouldn’t want our Sex and the City movie any other way. We can’t wait for May 30, 2008!
After some buzz that Carrie gets left at the altar by none of than commit-phob Mr. Big, OK! has basically confirmed it after seeing a scene shot last Friday at Bryant Park.
As Carrie’s car passes Big’s car she runs out screaming “You humiliated me!” and throws her wedding bouquet at him. Quickly she is restrained by bff Miranda.
Wow, things are getting intense, especially because when OK! watched a rehearsal the couple looked so lovey dovey. Are the SATC crew throwing us all for a curve ball?
When OK! stopped by the Manhattan set of the Sex and the City film on Tuesday, Sarah Jessica Parker walked hand in hand with Kristen Davis as Cynthia Nixon followed close behind. Who was missing from the clique? Kim Cattrall, who OK! has learned is still feuding with SATC cast mates.
“It’s been a hectic shoot, but it’s what I suspected it to be. It is what it is," a source on the set revealed to OK!. "I also worked on the show so I’m used to it.”
And while the source tells OK! that, ultimately, “Everybody’s happy to be together again," they also caution that, "It’s like a family relationship. And like in any family relationship there’s always one or two people who aren’t always happy to see each other.”

In a rain-soaked scene on Greenwich Village’s Perry St., a pensive-looking Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) watched as what appeared to be a moving truck pulled away from her building. Dressed casually in a black jacket, red scarf and jeans, the truck pulled away — maybe to Mr. Big’s? Has the couple finally taken the plunge?
The next scene OK! saw being shot was Carrie, all dressed up in a ladylike peach dress and sky-high heels, walking down the block with her best friend Stanford and they run intoBitsy von Muffling, married to the lounge singer played by Nathan Lane. A barefoot Bitsy runs out of the salon gushing "Carrie Bradsahw PREGNANT! Mazel Tov! When is it? September? October?"
But when the same scene was shot again later that day, it sounded like she may have said "Carrie Bradshaw MARRIED. Mazel Tov. I read it in Page Six. When is it? September? October?"
So either the writers are throwing us for loop, OK!’s reporter is partially deaf or no one’s sure which way Carrie’s life is going to go yet!
