Nick Hogan Out of Jail

October 21st, 2008

After spending six months in the slammer for reckless driving, Nick Bollea, aka Nick Hogan, was released from Pinellas County Jail in Florida early this morning.

Hulk Hogan’s son was behind the wheel in August 2007 and allegedly racing another car, when he crashed the Toyota Supra, severely injuring his friend and passenger, John Graziano. The former Marine wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and will need medical care for the rest of his life.

Nick was set free for good behavior, and ran right into the arms of sister Brooke Hogan, according to the Tampa Tribune.

Mom Linda Bollea, who is in the middle of a bitter divorce from Hulk, released a statement on Tuesday morning to ask that the media respect the family’s privacy, saying:

"This is our time as a family to come together to support Nick’s adjustment back into the public life, keeping it as normal as possible. Neither Nick, nor we as a family, has any interest in making this anything but private. We respect the media’s role and only ask that they respect our privacy. Nick went into prison as a juvenile and has experienced something that will mold and affect him for the rest of his adult life. His focus is to make a positive difference in this world, media-free. Since his future actions will speak louder than any words, there is no need to speak to the media at this time."

How Much is Hulk Hogan Worth?

September 5th, 2008

Hulk Hogan thinks he knows best when it comes to his net worth – in financial affidavits filed in divorce court near Tampa, Fla., the wrestler, real name Terry Bollea, claims he’s worth $32 million. However his estranged wife Linda Hogan puts his value at $26.7 million.

Money seems to be flying everywhere during the couple’s highly publicized divorce fight – Hulk says he’s dishing out $38,000 per month to pay his legal fees, while Linda is putting down $7,000 on clothing, $7,500 on maid service and about $1,700 on jewelry each month, according to the AP.

While the Hogans duke it out in the courtroom, their son Nick Hogan is in jail as part of his eight-month sentence after being sentenced for causing the crash that permanently disabled his friend John Graziano.

Linda Hogan Dating 19-Year-Old Man

June 10th, 2008

The reality show Hogan Knows Best has had a rough year, what with Nick Hogan’s arrest for his involvement in a car crash that seriously injured his friend and a pending bitter divorce between the show’s patriarch Hulk Hogan and his wife Linda Hogan.

Now, as the fate of Hogan Knows Best hangs in the balance, Brooke Hogan has dropped another bombshell, confirming that her 48- year old mother Linda is dating a much younger man, 19-year old Charlie Hill.

"Yes, it’s true," Brooke tells Michael Yo on his Yo on E! satellite radio show on Tuesday. "I’m totally freaked out. This is really weird. I personally don’t like it at all or condone it."

Adding fuel to the fire–Linda’s new man happens to be a former classmate of her daughter’s.

"I went to school with him," Hogan tells Yo. "He was a grade under me. Me and Nick know him well. Me and Nick are two years apart, and he was right between us in school."

It’s a tricky situation for anyone, but Brooke says she’s managed to keep a clear head through it all. "She’s my mom, so I have to show her support," she says. "I’m just staying the course and dealing with it and supporting my family.

Of her brother Nick’s reckless driving charges (for which he’s imprisoned for the next 8 months) Brooke says she visits him regularly, adding, "You know, I thought we were one of those normal Hollywood families. It’s crazy watching it all fall apart, but I hope for the best."

Hulk Answers Divorce Petition

November 30th, 2007 / Author: cwillett

Hulk Hogan filed a petition on Wednesday answering his wife’s request for a divorce. In the papers filed with the court, the wrestling legend turned reality star claims his estranged wife, Linda, can support not only herself financially but also their 17-year-old son, Nick. The couple’s daughter, Brooke, is 19 and, therefore, legally an adult.

Hulk also says claims Nick is old enough to choose the parent he wants to live with. Linda is currently seeking alimony and child support from the wrestler. She also wants to retain custody of Nick, allowing visitation with his father, and the marital home.

Hulk’s lawyer would only tell the Associated Press, "It’s all going to get worked out."

The Hulk Speaks!

Now that his wife, Linda, has filed for divorce from the pro-wrestler, Hulk Hogan has released a comment regarding the very, very public divorce drama.

In a statement he said: “Please respect my family’s privacy at this time with all that we have
been through. I care for my wife, and my children are my world and I
just hope this all works out.”

Arguably it’s sort of hard to stay out of the spotlight when you had a reality show about your family.

Hogan Family Divorce Drama

November 26th, 2007 / Author: cwillett

The family of wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan portray the happy, weird family next door on their reality show Hogan Knows Best, but reality is quite different.

Last week, Hulk’s wife, Linda (whose real name is Linda Bollea), filed for divorce from her husband of nearly 25 years, who was born with the not-so-scary name of Terry Bollea. This comes only weeks after their 17-year-old son, Nick, was involved in a nearly fatal drag racing accident that almost killed his friend and passenger. And let’s not mention daughter Brooke Hogan’s, failed attempt at pop music stardom.

Quickly after Linda filed the papers, rumors surfaced that the former pro wrestler learned the bad news, not from his lawyer, but from a Florida newspaper. Since then he’s quickly stomped those rumors saying that he actually heard about it from his lawyer.

Although the divorce may have been initially surprising to viewers of their show, the Hogans have apparently been going through marriage problems for quite a while. It was even later documented on their show. But, according to a story on TMZ.com, Linda still hopes that maybe things can work out despite the fact that she was the one who filed the papers.
