It’s Alex Rodriguez’s turn to cheer from the sidelines! The NY Yankee went to a screening of Nine last night in NYC to support his girlfriend Kate Hudson. Kate plays an American journalist who gets sent to Rome in the film, which is a remake of the 1982 musical documenting the famous film director Guido Contini. The movie is packed with heavy-hitting leading ladies including Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, and Fergie.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban brought their daughter Sunday Rose to NYC on Monday. The family attended a luncheon in The Oak Room at the Plaza Hotel for the movie Nine sponsored by Miramax. Nicole protected little Sunday Rose from photographers while the family is away from their Nashville comforts.

Fergie and Nicole Kidman looked beautiful at a special screening of their new film Nine in NYC yesterday. The Dutchess arrived at the theater without hot hubby, Josh Duhamel, while Nicole was accompanied by country superstar husband, Keith Urban. Rob Marshall’s Nine (out in theaters Dec. 18) is a remake of the 1982 musical documenting the famous film director Guido Contini.
