Although she won’t be charged with vandalism for plastering a United Way billboard in Oklahoma City with a shark poster, Jessica Alba is trying to make up for her actions by donating to the charity.
She apologized previously for the stunt, which occurred while she was in the city filming The Killer Inside Me.
Erin Brewer, spokeswoman for United Way of Central Oklahoma, says Jessica’s lawyer asked that the amount she gave not be disclosed, but that she qualified for a program that recognizes donors who give over $500.
Brewer says the gift was "generous" and "appropriate."

A week ago, it looked like Jessica Alba was in hot water with the authorities in Oklahoma City after photos emerged of her joining in with other vandals who thought it would hilarious to place posters of sharks all over town.
But according to a report on TMZ.com, the Fantastic Four star isn’t going to face the long arm of the law and will not be charged in the incident. The item says that the Oklahoma City Police opted not to pursue the case — even though she’s admitted to taking part — because no one was willing to prosecute the case.
Jessica, in Oklahoma City to shoot a movie, issued an apology of sorts after being caught red-handed. "I got involved in something I should have had no part of," she said at the time. "I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident."

As reported earlier today, Jessica Alba was being investigated by Oklahoma City authorities for her involvement in a bizarre bit of public vandalism that had the actress wallpapering the city with gigantic posters of sharks.
Well… Looks like the superstar — in Oklahoma to shoot a film — now regrets her actions and has issued an apology of sorts (some would say it looks like she’s passing the buck…). In a statement released this afternoon, she writes:
"I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident."
No word yet on whether or not she’ll face any legal problems over this bit of acting out.

While the rest of the world looks into the past of Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West’s mother Donda before her untimely death last weekend, Donda’s family is focused on making plans for her funeral, which will take place next Tuesday, Nov. 20, in Oklahoma City.
According to CelebTV.com, a rep for Howard-Harris Funeral Home in Oklahoma City has confirmed they will be the site for the ceremony in the town Donda called home as a girl. Meanwhile, plans are reportedly underway for a memorial service to be held in California later this week.
