Drew’s Man Free, Proud To Be

Drew Barrymore seems to love being single so much, the He’s Just Not That Into You star might have to tell a few guys she’s just not that into them.

 

Page Six reports that the ultimate single lady was having dinner at the Waverly Inn on Monday night when her Music and Lyrics co-star, Hugh Grant walked in.

 

"She squealed and jumped in his arms," a witness tells the paper, adding that the friends then "made out."

Apparently their brief romance wasn’t to be, as Drew took off to hang at the Beatrice Inn with steamy hunk Clive Owen.

Jennifer Aniston: No Going Solo

What could be worse than competing with your ex on the day your film premieres? For Jennifer Aniston, going dateless on the red carpet while Brad Pitt squired Angelina Jolie around was a completely unacceptable idea.

 

Page Six reports that Jen was not ready to do the promotional rounds for Marley & Me alone, especially since Brad’s movie would be in the media eye at the same time, as they both hit theaters on Christmas day.

During her brief split with John Mayer, Jen’s people were apparently looking for suitable red carpet candidates.

 

"She didn’t want to face the glare of being unattached while Brad Pitt toted Angelina Jolie around," for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Page Six quotes a source as saying, adding that she "did not want to be single when her movie opened."

 

"A friend of her agent was calling around asking for young men whom they could set her up with," the source adds.

 

However drastic measures were avoided when Jen and John reunited, and it seems the musician has been playing his part.

 

"I’m here to support my girl," he told reporters at the L.A. premiere.

Sienna & Balthazar Still Going Strong

Although British papers recently reported that Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty had ended their high-profile, scantily-clad relationship, it seems the twosome were never in splitsville.

 

The British tabs had qutoed Sienna as saying,"I’m single at the moment . . . I’m cool being on my own," but it seems some liberties were taken with the timing of her quote. A rep for Sienna tells Page Six: "Contrary to British reports, Sienna never gave an interview about her relationship with Balthazar. An old quote was pulled from an interview three years ago."

 

So that must mean Balthazar’s marriage of eight years to wife Rosetta is still over, too.

Lindsay & Sam in Couples Counseling

Could there be trouble in paradise for Lindsay Lohan and galpal Samantha Ronson?

 

The New York Post’s Page Six reports that the high-profile twosome are speaking with a couples counselor to smooth over their problems.

 

According to a source, LiLo and SamRo "are fighting like cats and dogs," and "they fight every day, screaming, crying and yelling at each other."

Eek, that doesn’t sound good — especially in light of a what seemed to be a few public spats recently. London’s Sun newspaper reported that the duo agrued outside Boujis in London after Sam had DJ’ed a show, saying "all hell broke loose," leaving Lindsay in tears after the fight.

 

Page Six’s source goes on to add that "Sam and Lindsay are still very much together and very much in love, but drama just seems to follow Lindsay, and Sam hates it. She deals with Lindsay every day. And every day for Sam means questioning, ‘Is this worth it?’ "

 

Another bit of evidence includes a video posted online of Lindsay curtly ordering Sam to "pull the car up" as paparazzi snapped away.

 

"The things they argue about have to do with their age difference," the source says. "But no matter what happens, at the end of the day, they are always fine."

Cops Come to Kate Hudson’s Party

When cops show up at your party, you’ve got to hope they’re strippers. Unfortunately for Kate Hudson, the real police arrived at her pre-Halloween party early Sunday morning to move her party indoors. Apparently the party was too loud for neighbors, so the LAPD came to keep the noise down.

 

A source tells Page Six that Kate was a 60s flight attendant and son Ryder Robinson wasn’t in attendance. Fellow partygoers included Courteney Cox dressed as a witch with husband David Arquette as a warlock, Winona Ryder as a mouse, Rachel Zoe in a flapper costume and Cindy Crawford dolled up as Amy Winehouse.

 

According to the gossip page, Gerard Butler dressed as a sexy cowboy was the hottest ticket in town, with the source saying, "All the girls at the party were lining up to talk to Gerard… he left with two very sexy vampires."

Report: Lindsay & Sam Spat

Every couple has its ups and downs, and it seems like Lindsay Lohan and her DJ galpal Samantha Ronson have had a teensy bit of a down last week, according to Page Six.

 

During a ride on the Acela train to Washington on Thursday, LiLo and SamRo had a "quiet fight" for the entire trip, with Linds complaining about her staff and telling Sam, "I do what’s good for you, not what’s best for both of us."

Yikes! The Mean Girls star was reportedly "whining incessantly and Samantha was trying to deflect it. When Lindsay would get up, Samantha would sigh and put her sweatshirt hood back up."

 

The testiest part of the spat seemed to be when Lindsay told Sam, "Don’t f—ing lie to me!"
