In the world of celebrity divorces, there don’t seem to be many happy endings when it comes to splitting up. However, Patricia Arquette could be on the road to mending her relationship with husband Thomas Jane.
The Medium star filed for divorce in January, but they’re reportedly good pals still, says Celebuzz, and could be reconciling soon.
A source tells Celebuzz that Patricia attended her hubby’s 40th birthday bash in L.A. on Friday at Hwood, along with her brother David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette.
"Thomas was so doting," the source says, "there were a ton of people at this party and it was obvious where his attentions were."
Jane Kaczmarek starts filming the second season of the TNT drama Raising the Bar in a few weeks, and you can bet her character, Judge Trudy Kessler, is gonna be reeling from the news that her young boy toy has come out.
"That’s how the show ended last season," Jane tells me. "I was so enamored with him. I wish they had prolonged their affair just a little bit longer."
Still, Jane looks forward to working out Trudy’s emotions. "It’s one of the biggest challenges to deal with, just how would I feel if my lover told me this," she says. "It was the first time as an actress that I have ever been faced with that, so it’s a really novel experience."
If Judge Trudy wants to slip on something sexy and get back into the dating game, she can start by visiting Clothes Off Our Back. Started by Jane and husband Bradley Whitford (of The West Wing fame), the nonprofit organization sells gently used celebrity ware to raise money for charity.
This year, Clothes Off Our Backs has paired with the Heart Truth Red Dress Collection 2009, an annual event reminding women of the need to protect their hearts. The site is currently featuring dresses for past runway shows to support women’s heart health.
"Heart disease is really the number one killer of women, more than breast and other cancers, a lot of people don’t know that," Jane says.
Several celebs will join forces under the tents in New York City’s Bryant Park on Feb. 13 to help raise awareness for the disease.
"Katie Couric, Daisy Fuentes, Patricia Arquette, me," Jane declares, who adds it’s her first time doing the Red Dress runway show.
"I hope I have a long dress so I can wear flats. I don’t want to wipeout," Jane says.
"Seeing people fall is the funniest of things, as long as it doesn’t happen to you," she laughs.

Could Patricia Arquette be patching things up with Thomas Jane?
According to E! Online’s Marc Malkin, the answer may be yes! Arquette and her estranged hubby are reportedly set to co-host a party for a musician pal at their L.A. home next week.
The event will take place exactly one month after the Medium star filed for divorce to end their two-and-a-half year marriage. The invite to the party reads, "Thomas Jane and Patricia Arquette invite you to their home to witness the spectacular Eric Lewis."
Lewis, who also goes by ELEW, is scoring Jane’s feature film directorial debut, the 3-D horror film The Dark Country.
No word whether Arquette has put a stop to the divorce proceedings. When she filed the divorce documents on Jan. 5, Arquette requested sole legal and physical custody of their 5-year-old daughter, Harlow Olivia Calliope, with visitation rights for Jane.

TMZ is reporting that the Medium star filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.
Arquette married Jane two years ago and the couple have a five-year-old daughter. They also have no pre-nup, which should make things interesting down the line. Patricia’s lawyer is non other than Laura Wasser, who also filed for Kate Walsh, incidentally.
An unruly extra was booted from the set of NBC’s Medium on Nov. 7, for disrupting a scene involving the show’s star Patricia Arquette.
But what everyone failed to see was that the "extra" was none other than comic prankster Sacha Baron Cohen dressed up as one of his alter-egos.
Cohen, who shocked movie audiences with his un-politically-correct character Borat, is currently shooting a film in which he plays the outrageous fashion reporter Bruno. It’s unclear how Cohen made it onto the set, but according to EW, Cohen is filming "crash" footage for the new film, a followup to Borat.
Thomas Jane has pleaded no contest to drunken driving.
The actor, who is married to Emmy-winning Medium star Patricia Arquette and starred in last year’s movie The Mist and 2004’s The Punisher, was arrested for suspected DUI while doing 120 mph in his Maserati. He pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence.
Jane was sentenced to one year probation, $17oo in fines and must take alcohol abuse classes. Two other alcohol and drug charges and two speeding tickets were dismissed.
Police stopped the 39-year-old actor twice on Interstate 5 in Kern County last March for speeding. After a third stop, he was arrested for drunken driving.
