Cops Expect Lilo to “Turn Herself In”

March 15th, 2009

A day after a warrant was issued for Lindsay Lohan’s arrest, OK! has learned that police expect the Mean Girls star to turn herself in for a probation violation relating to her 2007 DUI.

"I have a feeling she will eventually turn herself in. If she does come in, it’s pretty simple. We book her, and if she posts bail, she’s on her way," Beverly Hills Police Department spokesman Sargeant Mike Foxen tells OK!.

Despite Lindsay going on record calling the warrant, which has a $50,000 bail bill, "completely fabricated," Foxen tells OK!, "Well, she’ll be very enlightened, won’t she? I think in time she’ll come to realize that the best thing for her to do is turn herself in. Whether it’s a bench warrant or not, a warrant is a warrant, but I doubt a team will be out there today looking for her."

A team may not have been out looking to arrest the actress today, however police did make a housecall to the Beachwood Canyon home Lohan shares with girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Three LAPD police officers were called to the house early Saturday morning–allegedly for a domestic disturbance. However the actress and her girlfriend refused to come to the door.

The couple reportedly got into the fight of the century and an eyewitness tells OK!, "One of the windows on the side of the house was completely shattered, like someone had thrown something through it. You could see the shards of glass on the cement walk below."

Could the argument have been about Lindsay’s current legal woes? Whatever the girls were fighting about, it seemed to quiet down throughout the afternoon as cops kept the crowds of tourists and paparazzi at bay. With Ronson’s white Maserati parked outside, the couple seemed content to hole up inside their house. Just after 7 p.m. PST, three Kardashian sisters look-a-likes arrived at the house carrying blue Alcoholics Annonymous books. They stayed for about an hour, and then left through the side entrance, saying nothing to photographers as they got into their Mercedes and sped away.

Matt Dillon says he didn’t do it!

On Wednesday, the actor entered a not guilty plea to a charge of careless and negligent operation of a vehicle stemming from his Dec. 30 speed-related bust in Vermont.

E! Online is reporting the actor’s attorney, Mark Kaplan, entered the plea on the absent actor’s behalf during this morning’s roughly two-minute hearing.

Dillon, 44, was hit with the speeding charge last month after police clocked him driving at 106 mph in a 65 mph zone.

The police report says the actor was cited as saying, "I screwed up, I know, I know."

If convicted, Dillon could face up to one year behind bars and face a fine of $1,000.

Cops Come to Kate Hudson’s Party

October 28th, 2008

When cops show up at your party, you’ve got to hope they’re strippers. Unfortunately for Kate Hudson, the real police arrived at her pre-Halloween party early Sunday morning to move her party indoors. Apparently the party was too loud for neighbors, so the LAPD came to keep the noise down.

A source tells Page Six that Kate was a 60s flight attendant and son Ryder Robinson wasn’t in attendance. Fellow partygoers included Courteney Cox dressed as a witch with husband David Arquette as a warlock, Winona Ryder as a mouse, Rachel Zoe in a flapper costume and Cindy Crawford dolled up as Amy Winehouse.

According to the gossip page, Gerard Butler dressed as a sexy cowboy was the hottest ticket in town, with the source saying, "All the girls at the party were lining up to talk to Gerard… he left with two very sexy vampires."

Lindsay Fires Back at L.A. Police Chief

August 1st, 2008

Lindsay Lohan is taking no prisoners to protect her personal life and rumored relationship with d.j. pal Samantha Ronson.

On Friday, in response to L.A. Police Chief William Bratton’s comment that the city’s paparazzi problem is no longer an issue because evidently Lindsay Lohan "has gone gay," the actress fired back with a statement of her own.

And yes, it was to the paparazzi.

"Police, you shouldn’t get involved in everyone else’s business when it comes to their personal life.  It’s inappropriate," she said in a video posted on TMZ.

In the footage, Lohan and Samantha were trekking through the airport on their way to Chicago.

The day before, Chief Bratton said the paparazzi have become less of a problem thanks to Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lohan leading more moderate lives.

”If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank God, and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don’t seem to have much of an issue,” he told KNBC-TV.

Bratton was speaking about his refusal to participate in a meeting held by elected officials Thursday that was called to discuss new laws to curb problem paparazzi.

He called Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine’s special session — which was attended by the likes of John Mayer, Eric Roberts and Milo Ventimiglia — ”a complete waste of time.”

Bratton later called a news conference outside police headquarters to clarify his position on the paparazzi. When asked about the Lohan remark — which followed months of tabloid speculation that Lohan and Ronson, a DJ, are dating — Bratton said his sister is gay and he is a proponent of gay rights.

Police Say Shia “Not at Fault”

July 29th, 2008

Good news for Shia LaBeouf!

Police have determined that the actor was not at fault in Sunday’s car crash that sent him and two others to the hospital.

Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore says detectives determined that the other driver ran a red light. Shia was turning left when his truck collided with the other car and flipped over.

"He was not at fault," Whitmore said of the Transformers actor. Authorities are now fingering the driver of the other car, who identity has not been released. That driver was cited at the scene for the moving offense that caused the accident.

So, it looks like Shia,22, was just in the wrong place at the wrong time—and with the wrong blood alcohol level.

Even though he wasn’t responsible for the accident, his DUI count still stands.  Officers said the actor was "exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication" and booked him on the midemeanor charge Sunday morning.

He has yet to be arraigned.

Report: Britney Receiving Threats?

March 7th, 2008 / Author: cwillett

Britney Spears‘ life has been relatively quiet — until now. E! News is reporting that the former pop princess has been getting numerous threats in the mail, including letters and packages.

A source close to the singer says the disturbing correspondence reportedly includes one letter mentioning "how to bomb" and other "weird gibberish." The threats have become so severe, the source says, that Britney’s fam has decided to turn everything over to law enforcement.

"To be safe, her security team is turning it all over to the police and FBI," a friend of the singer said. "A lot of it was disturbing stalker kind of stuff."

A rep for the LAPD would not elaborate but did say that they "have been looking at allegations that have cropped up in the past couple of months."
The threatening letters and packages were reportedly sent to multiple addresses linked to Britney.

On Friday a spokesperson for the FBI said the LAPD could not comment on ongoing investigations.
