Lisa Marie’s Fruity Cravings

Lisa Marie Presley is happy to talk about her pregnancy, now that it’s public knowledge. The daughter of the late Elvis Presley is expecting her third child with fourth hubby Michael Lockwood later this fall. And when it comes to cravings, she says she’s definitely got a few.

"Fruit — it’s boring but that’s what I want," Presley tells OK!. "Any fruit: fruit smoothie, fruit juice — it’s good!" The 40-year-old, who says her pregnancy has been pretty easy so far, caught up with OK! at the William S. Paley Television Festival in Hollywood on March 14, where whe appeared with her mom, Pricilla Presley, to promote the 40th anniversary of Elvis’ ‘68 Comeback Special.

Of her husband, Lisa Marie says, "He has all my symptoms. He feels like his belly is getting big, and he has the same appetite I have. He’s having reflux and was nauseous the other day. It’s funny."

The mom-to-be says that when the baby comes, expect her two grown children, Riley, 18, and Ben, 15, to help out at home. "Oh yeah, they will. I’ll be at the bar, and they’ll be home baby-sitting. Just kidding!"

 

Lisa Marie Presley Sues Over ‘Fat’ Story

Don’t mess with a pregnant woman — especially when it’s Lisa Marie Presley!

The princess of rock and roll has filed a lawsuit in London’s High Court against Britain’s Daily Mail in response to a story it ran alleging that Presley’s ballooning weight was the result of overeating.

On Friday, Presley, 40, said she was forced to reveal she was pregnant as a result of the paper’s story, which she called slanderous and degrading. The Daily Mail has since reported Presley’s pregnancy.

”Once they got a glimpse of my expanding physique a few days ago, they have been like a pack of coyotes circling their prey whilst eerily howling with delight,” she said on her blog.

The daughter of the late Elvis Presley claims pictures taken of her and fourth husband Michael Lockwood at a L.A. restaurant last week forced her to go public with her pregnancy. "It really upset her," Presley’s attorney Jo Paton told the A.P. "She was about to announce her pregnancy and was shocked and hurt by the unkind article about her appearance."

 

Lisa Marie is also reportedly seeking an apology and damages from the British newspaper. The Daily Mail said they didn’t know anything about her intended lawsuit until they were served with court papers. "We are investigating the matter," the paper said in a statement.

 

Lisa Marie is expecting her third child. She already has two children from her first marriage to musician Danny Keough, which ended in 1994. She was also briefly married to Michael Jackson and actor Nicolas Cage. Presley married Lockwood in January 2006.

 

Lisa Marie Presley: I’m Not Fat, I’m Pregnant!

At the risk of the world ending over press reports criticizing a ballooning Lisa Marie Presley, the princess of rock and roll felt compelled on Friday to announce that she is pregnant, saying she was forced into it by media ridicule.

The 40-year-old daughter of Elvis and Pricilla Presley is expecting her third child with fourth husband, music producer Michael Lockwood. On her official MySpace page, Presley wrote:

 

"After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant.”

Her announcement came several days after photos of Presley and Lockwood eating lunch in L.A. made the media rounds. Britain’s The Daily Mail asked, "Like father like daughter? Bloated Lisa Marie is now the double of dad Elvis.”

On Friday, Lisa Marie’s spokesperson, Cindy Guagenti, said, "I mean, if you read some of the stories it’s like, ‘She’s gonna die like her father’;'her and her mom are in a fight because of her weight’ — that’s not true at all. It’s just awful stuff.”

Lisa Marie, who admitted she was "seething" over the way the press ridiculed her appearance, has two children by first husband Danny Keough. She was also infamously married to Michael Jackson and briefly to actor Nicolas Cage.

”You KNOW if you were pregnant and you felt you were expanding uncontrollably by the moment as a result, and the worldwide media started badgering and harassing you for it, plastering you everywhere in an unflattering light, you would be mortified as well,” she said.
