Lane Garrison Sued in Wrongful Death Case

December 10th, 2008

Former Prison Break star Lane Garrison is being sued by the parents of the boy he killed while driving under the influence back in 2006.

According to TMZ, Karen Setian and Inaida Nalbandian have filed a lawsuit against the actor, who’s currently in prison serving 40 months, for the wrongful death of their 17-year-old son, Vahagn Setian.

The suit claims Lane "purchased a bottle of vodka with and for minors, borught the vodka to a party attended by minors…and shared and consumed the vodka with minors at the party."

The boy’s parents say Lane then loaded up his car with three high-school kids and headed to a Beverly Hills liquor store.

The trip ended tragically when Lane crashed into a tree. The parents are seeking unspecified damages.

Amaury & Jennifer: Hot New Couple?

September 2nd, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff

There’s a hot new couple in Hollywood — Prison Break’s Amaury Nolasco and House’s Jennifer Morrison!

OK! has learned that the pair are "definitely together" and have been dating for about two months. Jennifer, 29, and Amaury, 37, were recently spotted out at an L.A. party holding hands and looking very much in love.

It’s a quick turn around for Morrison who was previously engaged to House co-star Jesse Spencer. The two called off their wedding, saying in a statement, "After much consideration, we have decided not to get married. We are still very close, and we look forward to continuing to work together on House."

DVR THIS: Prison Break

September 1st, 2008

Sometimes, you don’t realize how much you miss something until it comes back to you.

And so my love affair with Wentworth Miller, who plays jailbreaking pro Michael Scofield on Prison Break — the new season starts tonight — continues.

How could I forget the chiseled jaw, the poignant gaze, a man so in love that he only has one thing on his mind: avenge the love of his life Dr. Sara Tancredi’s death. Boy, is he going to be in for a surprise this season!

Now back in civilian clothes, Michael will do anything, even die, to avenge Sara’s murder.

Hmmm, his wish just might be granted. There’s a big, mean guy running around who’s pretty much offing anyone who has worked for the Company, knows of the Company, even says the word, well you know…

Needless to say, Prison Break is back, with a vengeance.

But don’t just take my word for it. Here’s OK!’s resident PB fanatic, Rana Meyer’s 30-second review of the season opener:

"Season three came to an end as Michael and Lincoln finally broke out from Sona, and Michael announced that he was out to avenge Sarah’s death by the Company. The premiere opened up with that exact plan in motion.

It got off to a rip-roaring start, with so many shocking and mouth agape moments in just the first half hour alone.

Season four of Prison Break is off to an action-packed start. You will be on the edge of your seats from the very first moment. Who knows where this thrilling season will be taking us now."

Prison Break, season four, premieres Monday, Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. on Fox.

OK!’s Rana Meyer breaks down the show of the night: Prison Break!

Prison Break: Here we go again, the boys are finally finishing work on their escape tunnel and it seems like the escape attempt is about to start once again. But because the escape would be next to impossible at night, they needed to wait until morning. In the meantime, Gretchen starts getting fed up after she realized that Sucre planted a bomb in her car and Whistler still isn’t giving her the information that she wants from him. And Gretchen isn’t a dummy, she knows what it takes to get to these men to do what she wants: threatening the beautiful women in their lives! She grabs Sophia and calls Whistler while torturing his girl, which of course makes Whistler cave. There is certainly nothing sexier than a man getting emotional over the torture of his lady love. But Whistler isn’t stupid either, he decides to continue to hold onto the information that Gretchen wants because he knows that is the only way to keep Sophia and LJ safe for the long haul. Gretchen will just have to wait for the escape to happen. But as the rain begins to pour down, Michael comes to realize that they can’t wait until morning or their tunnel will collapse from the rain. A nighttime escape it is. He gets Sucre to find out info on the electrical boxes outside the prison and gets Lincoln to knock out the electrical lines on the road. But they will only have 30 seconds before the backup generator kicks in. Will they all make it? Probably not. But only two episodes left for us all to see what happens. — Rana

OK!’s Rana Meyer breaks down your fave show of the night!

Prison Break: "As the prison boys continue their escape attempts, Lechero continues his attempts to take down Sammy. And he is right in doing that. It sounds weird since Lechero is a drug-dealing murderer, but I like something about him and I just want him to take care of Sammy already. He is trying to overthrow the whole system at Sona and also he wants to kill Michael. And that is just a no go in my book. So T-Bag gets Bellick to challenge Sammy to a brawl. Bellick feels he can use the same turpentine he wrapped around his fingers in the last fight, but that’s a no go. He’s all out. But he lucks out in the end, because just as Sammy is beating the crap out of him, he gets called away to take down Scofield. But our hunky Michael is no idiot. He tells Sammy that he can have their escape tunnel and bam, Sammy gets buried alive. Go Michael! But being the good guy that Michael is, he is really feeling the guilt. On the outside, Lincoln continues his plotting with Sucre against Gretchen. But all doesn’t go according to plan, and Gretchen is onto them. Duh, this girl isn’t stupid. And neither is poor Sophia. She wants to have faith in her boy Whistler, but she can’t take the lies anymore. As she rips his clothes out of her closet, what does she find? A briefcase hidden inside the lining of one of his suitcases, and that is fishy. What could be inside? Only time will tell." — Rana

Watch Out For… Camille Guaty

October 10th, 2007

Any girl, single or married, would dream of spending a day on the set of either Prison Break, with the likes of Wentworth Miller and Amaury Nolasco, or Las Vegas, with Josh Duhamel and James Lesure. For Camille Guaty, that is just a regular day at the office! She may have left the scruff and roughness of Prison Break for the clean-cut boys of Las Vegas, but Camille likes her man somewhere in the middle. “I like a guy who takes care of himself, but doesn’t take longer to get ready than I do,” this single gal tells OK!

As for her newfound home in Sin City as Piper, a possible love interest for James Lesure’s character, she says the cast could not have been more welcoming though they may need to get her name right. “No one calls me by my name by the way,” she laughs. “Everyone calls me Piper, but it’s Camille, thanks!” They certainly remembered when it came time to pranking her by decorating her actor’s chair with all her shortcomings — junk food, gems, magazines.

Even though this Jersey girl was super sick on her first day, Camille is a pro in every sense. Having gotten her start on PopStars on the WB and most recently being in the Nine and Prison Break, she proves she is a talent that can get the job done, sniffles or not. “My mom said to not go and call in sick,” Camille says. “I was like, ‘Call in sick, wow Mom, that would be a genius idea,’ let me just hold down production!’ ”

She did listen to mom and dad about going to college though. “My parents always thought acting was a hobby of mine, and they didn’t want me to major in it,” this Boston University grad explains. “When I graduated, I said, ‘Here is the diploma for you guys, and I’m off to do my dream.’”

Her dream is now her reality and she is winning big in Las Vegas and when she gets time off she would love to backpack through Europe or take a nice little trip to Tahiti! That Camille, is well deserved!

TV HUNK DISCOVERED: CHRIS VANCE

September 17th, 2007

Wentworth Miller, the good news is that I’m willing to wait for a man to get out of prison. The bad news is that it may not be you. I just watched the season opener of Prison Break (airing tonight at 8 p.m. on Fox), and there’s a new hottie in incarceration: British import Chris Vance. Chis plays James Whistler, a man sentenced to Sona after an altercation with a relative of the mayor of Panama. He’s also in hiding, since his head is as good as a prison pardon to the other inmates. Chris recently relocated to Dallas for his new role, where he’s acclimating to new cuisine, new co-stars and his new TV Fanatic girlfriend!

You’re originally from England. Did you experience culture shock moving to the U.S.?

It all happened so quickly I was kind of reeling from it a bit. I’m still getting used to the size of food and how much cheese and cream they put on everything in Dallas. I guess it’s a good staple diet!

It’s a pretty tight-knit cast. Did they put you through any type of new guy initiation?

There have been a few tours of Dallas nightlife, yes. On the set, if you get anything slightly out of term, they’ll call you on it. They’re sharp as razors. Keeps you on your toes.

What was your first interaction with Wentworth like?

I can see why everyone swoons over Wentworth. He’s really bright and quite hilarious. We have a lot of laughs, and for me, that’s the main thing. It’s long days and can be quite demanding in the heat, and he really makes things bounce along.

You are doing some physically demanding stuff out there.

I’ve been pulled through walls, smoked out of rooms, beaten up and shot at! The first couple of days it was a bit of a shock, but I’ve gotten used to it. It means I don’t have to shower in the evening. I can go straight home, jump in bed and show up the next morning. It’s all in character, right?

Are you willing to be my new Prison Break boyfriend?

How’s Went going to feel about that? You got some sort of open arrangement? Yeah, let’s do it. We’ll hook up — play the jealousy angle on him — and see how it works. He may realize he’s missing the best thing he’s ever had!

May not be such a bad thing after all!

Prison Break: Sneak Peek

August 28th, 2007

The would-be father of my children, if I had my way, Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller is back for another season of jail-breaks (yeah!) and stolen kisses with the good doc (I’ll learn to deal). The nail-biting season premiere doesn’t roll out until Sept. 17, but Fox.com is streaming 17 minutes of the season’s kick-off episode on its site for a limited time. That’s almost as good as a conjugal visit! You can also take a look at the network’s new cop drama K-Ville. The series’ premiere episode is being streamed online before its official debut on Fox after Prison Break.
