Nicole Scherzinger: You Are Beautiful!

There are plenty of celebs on the silver screen and MTV to look up to, but not all of them are positive role models for young fans to look up to.

But OK! recently chatted with a least one superstar who seems to have her head on straight: Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger had plenty of positive messages for girls who look up to her.

 

"Stay true to who you are. Keep the faith. Be yourself, and love yourself," she says.

And although she might be a successful pop star these days, even Nicole hasn’t always followed her own advice.

 

"We always say that inside every woman there is a Pussycat Doll, but I don’t always know that about myself," she confesses to OK!. "I always grew up feeling awkward because I came from a town where not everybody looked like me. What I did is a found myself in something that I was passionate about, and that made me feel good, which was singing, and dancing. I focused on that. I put my heart, and soul into it."

 

As for other young women out there who haven’t yet realized their own value, Nicole’s instructions are simple: "You are beautiful. Just find it from within, and so you can then shine your beauty on to other people."

 

Pussycat Doll in Love!

Taking a break from her recent press tour for the album release of Doll Domination, Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls joined her Formula One boyfriend Lewis Hamilton on Nov. 2, where the two celebrated his 2008 Brazilian Grand Prix win.

Scherzinger opened up to OK! prior to his win about about the long-distance relationship with her race car driver hubby.

"It’s hard because since we live in different time zones," says the lead singer of the pop group. "We can’t just talk on the phone like normal people… It is not easy."

How long has the globetrotting pop star gone without seeing her boyfriend, who’s seven years her junior?

"The longest we have gone without seeing each other was a month," explains the exotic brunette. "That was extremely hard for the both of us."

The couple that is divided by the Atlantic (he resides in Switzerland, she’s based in L.A.) make time out of their busy schedule to see each other whenever possible.

"We did a day and a half getaway, just the two of us," says the Hawaiian-born Nicole. "We just wanted to be with each other."

There have also been rumors swirling around the lovebirds shopping around for their own love nest in London.

"It all starts with a dream," Nicole explains. "But right now, we are so busy with our careers."

Victoria & David Beckham Uncensored

Amid rumors of a falling out between infamous bffs, Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes, Posh is opening up about her friend and says everything is A-ok.

In an interview with Extra, Posh says she plans to check out Katie in her Broadway show, All My Sons.  "We can’t wait to come support Katie," she says.  "Tom says she’s amazing, the reviews have been amazing.  We’re so proud of her."

 

Victoria was joined by her soccer-stud husband, David Beckham for the interview.  The couple is currently promoting their new fragrances, Signature, for men and women.  When asked if her husband smells just a tad bit after a soccer game, she said, "He always smells so nice! I’ve never smelled him smelling bad.  He’s perfect.  Look at him!"

The couple was equally forthcoming about their personal life, revealing that they like to do what any other married couple does during their alone time.

"What do you think?" Victoria says.  David adds, "Watch movies, listen to music, spend time with the kids."

Victoria recently went on record saying she does work out now to keep her tiny frame.  Of her fitness plan she says, "I run four miles, seven days a week.  I didn’t used to be but got quite into it when the Olympics started."

 

And when asked if she will be joining the Pussycat Dolls, she says, "It’s a load of S**t.  I love the Pussycat Dolls and I have a lot of respect for them and they’re great, but I was in a group and it was fun, but not anymore."

Ne-Yo: I Snubbed Britney for Pussycat Doll!

Ne-Yo has revealed that he wrote a bunch of songs for Britney — but then decided he’d rather have a Pussycat Doll sing them instead!

The Closer star said that he was asked to pen a series of tracks for Spears’s next album.

But when her career ground to a halt after her meltdown last year, he got so sick of waiting for her to get it together that he slipped them to Nicole from the red hot girl group.

And apparently that didn’t go over too well with Brit!

"We set up multiple sessions where she was supposed to actually come in and give her input on the songs, but she never showed up," the singer told Britain’s Guardian newspaper.

"This was before the whole shaving of the head thing, but after that happened, her people stopped returning phone calls."

In the meantime, the So Sick singer met Nicole Scherzinger who said she’d love the tracks for her solo project.

"And when news of that came out," says Ne-Yo, "then Britney’s people call me! ‘Hey! What’s going on? Why’re you giving away Britney’s music?’ I’m like, ‘Wait! Until y’all cut me a cheque, I’m givin’ away my music. It may’ve been written with Britney in mind, but it’s not hers.’

"I heard that she was upset with me," he continues, "and, you know, I don’t care."

Just call her "Major Pop Star:" Jessica Simpson and the Pussycat Dolls share the bill with hard rockers Disturbed, Filter and DJ Z-Trip this afternoon in a concert performance in support of American troops. Operation Myspace, live from Kuwait City, Kuwait, will kick off at 2 p.m. EST today, and will be hosted by comedian Carlos Mencia.

Jessica spoke to the folks on the Today show on Monday morning to talk about the concert:

Billed as a modern update to the USO shows of old, Operation Myspace will be beamed out around the world in simulcast via Myspace.com.
