Miley Apologizes for Radio Drama

After accusations were leveled against Miley Cyrus for "hanging up" on various radio stations today during interviews, the tween queen herself has taken to her Twitter page to address the issue. Some thought that she was angry and didn’t want to answer questions that were on her "do not ask" list, but Miley says that ain’t so.

 

Here’s her apology, originally spread over a few tweets but now condensed in all their uncapitalized and misspelled glory (hey, she’s only 16!):

 

"Theirs a little drama (of course the world loves it ew.) because apparently i "hung up" on radio stations today and I hate to say thats not true. I am a specific time limit and schedules are set up for specific time frames for each station… if a station goes over time I am IMMEDIATELY connected to the next station. YES, i am sorry if anyone thought I ‘hung up" on them. The peeps at the radio stations r friends we know each other well and have a great relationship. I’m sorry if anything was miscommunicated, taken out of context, or misunderstood. xo"

Radiohead Disses Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus may be every teen’s favorite celebrity, but there are, apparantly, some people who couldn’t care less about the Hannah Montana star!

During an interview with JohnJay and Rich on their radio show, Cyrus said she was dissed by Radiohead at this year’s Grammy Awards, despite forcing her manager to beg them for an introduction.

"My manager asked and said, you know, ‘Miley, she’s really obsessed and she’d really like to meet them,’ and they were like, ‘Yeah, we don’t really do that,’" Miley told JohnJay and Rich. "I left ’cause I was so upset. I wasn’t going to watch!"

"I’d already texted all my friends, we were all freaking out. This is someone who I like would have cried to [have met]," she continued. "Stinkin’ Radiohead!"

Miley Gushes Over Justin

Basically confirming what everyone else already knows, Miley Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest that she’s "maybe, maybe not" dating 20-year-old underwear model Justin Gaston.

 

The maybe response came after Ryan approached the topic on his KIIS FM radio show this morning, saying, "I keep seeing you walk around with a guy that I think is too old for you."

 

"Well…" Miley says with a pause, "I think you’re too old."

The affable radio host keeps at it, asking, "So, are you going out with him?"

 

"Why do you want to know? You have a crush on me?" Miley giggles.

 

After calmly explaining that no, he can’t have a crush on the 15-year-old, Ryan emphasizes that her fans want to know the truth about her and Justin and whether or not they’re together.

 

"Maybe, maybe not," she demurs.

 

Okay, so, if she was hypothetically allowed to date him, would she be?

 

"Yes, but I just think that right now everything is really good so I haven’t really been answering the question much because we’re just happy with everything the way everything has worked out," Miley reveals.

 

"He’s been a really great friend," the tween sensation continues. "There’s a lot going on, everyone started judging us as soon as we started hanging out. I’ve learned not to judge and just go into our friendship with an open mind and not worry about the age and everything. Our families are like, whatever happens happens, no matter what he’s a great friend."

 

Whooooaaa Miley! Sounds like someone’s in love!

 

After going on about her man for a bit longer, the Hannah Montana star finally pauses and giggles, "I’m totally gushing right now!’

 

Yes, Miley, yes you are.

Britney Goes Live on the Radio

Britney Spears has descended upon NYC and is already hitting all the big stops, including a visit to radio station Z100 to chat live on the air about her new album, Circus.

 

"I’ve been working on this album for six months or so," she tells Z100’s JJ.

 

The Britster seemed calm, cool and collected wearing a sweater and sunglesses as she added her thoughts on her new song, "Womanizer," which dropped last week.

 

"It’s a really cool song," she says of the single. "I like the fact that it’s so empowering for girls, because it’s basically saying, ‘We know what you’re up to.’ It’s about guys cheating on other girls and stuff and it’s kind of like a girl anthem."

 

Britney says she was suprised that for all the times she’s been nominated, that she finally won a VMA for her "Piece of Me" video.

 

"It’s a cool video, but I think by far, that I’ve done videos that are way better, so I was really shocked that I got the award." But this year’s success snagging three Moonmen could be just the start for Britney, who says she’s excited for the future of her videos.

 

"It was just inspiring though, because now going forward with the videos I’m doing now,  I can really go there and do something crazy and see what happens."

The comeback queen arrived in the Big Apple yesterday, and she’s set to take in the sights and eat her favorite NYC treat – pizza.

 

"I miss it here so much, I love it!" she gushes about the city. "It’s kind of bittersweet coming here because I used to live here for two years, so when I come back it’s like, man, I wish I had my apartment here still."

Brit also revealed some exciting news for next year – she’ll be going on tour next year, "probably around the world."

Keith & Nicole Talk About Baby Sunday

First-time parents Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman surprised a lot of Australian radio listeners today when they called in to a popular Sydney morning show to talk about their newborn baby girl Sunday Rose.

"She looks like Keith," Nicole told hosts Kyle and Jackie O of Breakfast With the Stars. "I think she does."

Her country superstar hubby wasn’t quite so eager to agree with that, saying, "Well, she’s a bit of a mix."

And while the audience couldn’t get a glimpse of the baby girl, Nicole did say that "She’s got a little bit of hair," with a "bit of a reddish tint."

The realities of parenthood are seeping in for the couple, who admit that Sunday is feeding every three hours, so they’re not getting much beauty sleep. "But it’s a solid three hours," joked Keith.

As for the delivery, Nicole says things went "very smoothly, surprisingly… We had wonderful nurses at the hospital."

The couple are in Sydney so baby Sunday can meet up with all her grandparents.
we brought her back to meet the grandparents. And while they’re in town, they’ve made a public plea to the press to give them some space, "so we can walk around our town."

"I get the interest," said Keith, talking about the horde of cameras and reporters who are aching to get the first shots of Sunday. "But at the same time, it’s our little girl… Would you do that to anybody else’s child?"

Baby Sunday was born on July 7 in Nashville. The good news was announced by Keith on his personal website.
