The great thing about being pregnant is that you have nine months and it really does prepare you,” she says of being a mom to son Bronx, with husband Pete Wentz. Read more »

WIll & Jada Keep it Hot
June 17th, 2009
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have been married for 11 years, a veritable lifetime in Hollywood. So how do they keep their relationship hot after all that time? They get creative, Jada reveals in the new issue of Redbook.
"Think of places outside that are comfortable to have sex. Does he have access to his office? Have a fantasy date. Be his secretary!" she says. "Be sneaky. Your girlfriend’s house at a party. The bathroom! A guest room! Just switch it up. Anything like that can keep it going. Anything it takes to keep the flame alive."
Will and Jada sound like they have fun together in other ways as well, as Jada reveals another way they stay connected.
"[The other day] I put together a picnic basket and drove us to this hiking trail that I’d taken him to when we first met. No Secret Service, nothing. So we went up and had a really nice afternoon," she reveals. "We sat there for about an hour, just sitting on a bench overlooking the canyons. I’m getting teary just thinking about it. We were both replenished and so happy and connected in that one hour."
WILL & JADA:
All those years together haven’t just produced an active sex life and a penchant for picnics, they’ve also grown as a couple.
"There’s a certain amount of safety you have to create for someone to feel like they can be open to you in that way. That’s something we forget in marriages and relationships – they have to be places of safety, because they’re where you’re most vulnerable," Jada explains. "If you’re not allowed to be safe, I don’t know if you can reach the depths of connection that support commitment."
Giada on Rachael Ray: No Feud Here!
May 22nd, 2009
So what if they’re both hugely popular Food Network stars? That doesn’t mean that Giada De Laurentiis and Rachael Ray have any kind of heated rivalry going on.
"Do we hang out all the time? No. Are we best friends? No," admits Giada in Redbook’s June issue, on stands May 18. "But if you’re not best friends, people assume that you hate each other. "
Giada goes on to say that the two foodies find the gossip funny.
"We laugh about it," she reveals. "We do these festivals together, and she’ll say to me, ‘Oh, we’d better take a picture together and smile, because if we don’t, God only knows what’s going to get written about us.’ She’s a lovely person."
Faith Hill’s Many Faces
April 22nd, 2009
Hold the blonde jokes, please: if blonde is good enough for Twiggy, Grace Kelly and Brigitte Bardot, it’s good enough for Faith Hill.
The stunning country singer recently underwent three transformations for a photo shoot featured in the May issue of Redbook, on stands April 28. As if one would need a reason to emulate the three beauties, she explains her decision to appear as these iconic ladies in an accompanying interview.
“Grace is probably the one that I relate to the most in my life and the one that I have most in common with,” she Explains “I have this seemingly high-profile life, like Grace did, and we were both the mother of three children. She epitomizes the all-American girl with a quiet class and inner strength. She was like everybody’s girl—seemingly comfortable and accessible—yet untouchable.”
As for posing ‘60s supermodel Twiggy, Faith at a little more trouble.
“It was hard for me to look at myself as Twiggy,” she admits. “I think she was in her late teens when the original photo was taken. And there’s a very big difference between a teenager and a 41-year old!”
But sexpot Brigitte was her biggest challenge, as Faith reveals, "To me, sexuality is very different from sensuality. And Brigitte possesses this sensual essence that is so powerful. If I could possess that kind of sensuality, I would want to possess it like she does.”

Jamie Pressly On Being a Single Mom
March 24th, 2009 / Author: OK! Staff
Jamie Pressly might be a trash-talker as Joy Turner on My Name is Earl, but in real life, the I Love You Man star is nothing but sweet, even when it comes to talking about ex Eric Cubiche. The couple have a son together, two-year-old Dezi James.
"When I was pregnant, Eric’s job changed. He became a traveling DJ. So he was gone a lot," she tells the new issue of Redbook of their split. "That’s how part of the… separation started. We’d been best friends for so long, and now it was kind of like we were leading two separate lives."
Jamie seems to have a practical attitude of the breakup, adding, "It’s hard because when you’re with somebody for a long time or have a child with someone, you start to expect them to be this person you had in mind. Then if they don’t fill the expectation, resentment starts to come up. Sometimes it just doesn’t work."

Even if she is shouldering a lot of the responsibility for Dezi with full custody, Jamie says Eric plays an important role in their family.
"When he’s in town, Eric comes and sees Dezi every day," she reveals. "Eric’s very much a part of his life; he’s a great father."
As for the kind of man she’s looking for to take her and Dezi on in the future, Jamie knows exactly what she wants – someone who cares.
"I’d like to be with somebody who isn’t afraid to take care of me – whether they have the same financial means as me or not," she explains. "What’s important is that they realize there are other ways of taking care of me that have [nothing] to do with money. Like cooking me dinner or going to the grocery store or picking up after yourself."
