Mark Wahlberg WeddingActor and producer Mark Wahlberg finally said “I do” to his girlfriend of eight years — and mother of their three children — model Rhea Durham on Saturday, Aug. 1.

The couple said their vows at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills in a ceremony attended only by about a dozen close friends and family. Rhea chose a stunning strapless silk chiffon Marchesa gown for her big day.

Mark and Rhea are the proud parents of 3-year-old Michael, daughter Ella Rae, 5, and infant son Brendan Joseph, who will celebrate his first birthday in September.

Mark & Rhea Set the Date!

October 14th, 2008

Looks like Mark Wahlberg is finally settling down!  The actor reveals to Parade.com that he intends to make an honest woman out of longtime girlfriend and mother of his three children, Rhea Durham.

"Rhea and I are talking about getting married next August, but no invitations have been sent out yet," Wahlberg said of his upcoming nuptials.  The actor says he’s been working so much lately that he barely has time to see his family, but that’s all going to change.

"I have been focusing on myself and my career for quite some time.  But now my family is definitely going to become my priority," he says.  "I can’t be working at the pace that I have been for much longer.  I want to be around to take my kids to school and pick them up and drag them to the golf course with me."

But before he does, Mark has one more major project underway. He’s currently taking on an evil corporation in Max Payne, based on the hugely popular video game, and next year you can catch him in Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones.

Of starring in Max Payne, Wahlberg says,"Putting myself in that headspace every day was not a fun place to be.  I would film all week and the kids couldn’t understand why, every time I came home on the weekend, I would just grab them and hold them so tight.  I took the role because I had just played a science teacher in The Happening and an accountant in The Lovely Bones.  I thought it was time to go back and do what I think best suits me, busting some heads and having some fun, kicking the bad guys’ butts."

Rhea & Mark: Getting Married!

June 17th, 2008

At long last, The Happening star Mark Wahlberg has an event coming up that no one thought would ever happen: a wedding!

OK! was the first to reveal that the actor,37, planned to wed his longtime girlfriend and mother to their two children model Rhea Durham,29.  Now OK! is also the first to break the news that the couple plans to wed in December!

"Mark has trust issues, and that’s why he’s been reluctant to marry," a friend of the actor tells OK!.  "But he’s gotten past that and he’s ready to show Rhea how proud he is to be with her and their kids."

There may be another reason as well.  Mark and Rhea, who already have two children Ella,4, and Michael,2, are expecting their third child in September.

Indeed, at his film’s June 11 premiere, Mark told OK! how much he loves being a dad.

"God, all the joy I get, even the kids are beating me up!" he said, adding, "I made a lot of mistakes when I was younger. I’m going to try and guide them in the right direction and provide a better life for them."

OK! Exclusive: Mark Wahlberg Expecting Baby #3!

April 23rd, 2008

OK! has learned exclusively that Mark Wahlberg, 36, and his fiancée of four years, Rhea Durham, 29, are expecting their third child later this fall!

As has become standard for many expecting celebs these days, the Boogie Nights star has yet to go public with the good news, although he has told friends he is having a son, due in September.

"Mark is thrilled to be having another baby," says one pal. "He is an amazing dad, and his two children are his world. He always used to joke about wanting at least a dozen kids, but it looks like he wasn’t joking after all."

Mark and Rhea already have daughter Ella Rae, 4, and a son, Michael, 2. A source says that while the couple is getting along beautifully, Mark has always been—and remains— marriage-shy, and is in no hurry to walk down the aisle despite a news of a third child on the way.
