OK! Exclusive: Lindsay & Riley Not Over?

While the end of the relationship between Lindsay Lohan and snowboarding former beau Riley Giles didn’t come as a shock to many who have followed the young star’s roller-coaster romantic life, it may surprise some to learn that the pair are not only still on speaking terms, they still spend time with each other.
"Lindsay still talks and hangs out with Riley," a source close to the 21-year-old actress reveals to OK!, before adding cautiously, "but they’re not ‘together. He will go over to her place to watch movies… that kind of thing."
In fact, OK! has learned that during a recent trip to the salon, La Lohan spent the entire time — nearly six hours, according to a witness — sending text messages back and forth to her former squeeze.
As for what caused the split in the first place, the source explains, "They broke up because Riley couldn’t take all the publicity." So what about the story about Riley proposing to his ex-girlfriend? "He never asked that girl to marry him," claims the source.
Time will only tell if this ex-couple can rekindle their flame.
Lindsay’s Boyfriend Has Some Advice for Dina

As usual, the best place to catch up the latest Lindsay Lohan news is through her boy-toy du jour Riley Giles‘ MySpace account. And the latest news from planet La Lohan involves mom Dina‘s planned reality show.
In a bulletin posted Monday, snowboarding stud Riley reveals — in typically oblique fashion — that he and Lindsay were asked to be part of the show, but has this to say:
“ADVICE OF THE WEEK: if your a mom, with 4 kids, the best thing u can do for them right now is have a reality show. WE. DO. NOT. WANT. she had the nerve to ask us to be on. no thanks!”
Youch.
Riley also seems to disclose plans of a holiday-time move to the Big Apple: “Our place in ny is getting decked out, cant wait to move.. should be mid-december.”
It’s not known whether that “our” means Riley and Lindsay or Riley and other potential roomies, but with rumors of engagement floating around, anything is possible.
Lindsay’s Halloween Plans

It seems like Lindsay Lohan has been laying low for the past week or so, but leave it to her new boyfriend, Riley Giles, to lay it all out there and keep us updated on “L’”s (it seems that’s his clever code name for La Lohan) every move.
According to a MySpace bulletin posted yesterday by the snowboarder, “L’s been hella busy rehearsing and putting some finishing touches on her new project… & making some special plans ;)”
And, are you wondering what the happy couple will be doing for Halloween? No worries, Riley explains: “Halloweens going to be awesome, were going to her friend nicks house for an awesome halloween party, then she’ll prolly drag me to some other place…. ' class='wp-smiley' /> our outfits are pretty cool…. YOU’LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT & SEE!!”</p>

Michael Lohan: “Lindsay’s In the Right Place”

When TV’s Extra caught up with Michael Lohan recently, he was more than willing to chat about his recently rehabbed daughter, actress Lindsay Lohan. “She’s in the right place in her heart and mind and soul,” he explained.
As
for the fence-mending that’s gone on between Lindsay and her
convicted-felon father, he said, “I feel blessed by being back in her
life.”
Michael also talked openly about Lindsay’s boyfriend (and possible fiancé), Riley Giles.
“He is a good kid,” said Michael. “He comes from a good family… I
don’t think anyone has the right to judge Riley. [He and Lindsay] keep
each other in line. They go to meetings with one another.”

Radio host JJ Ryan at KFRX radio in Lincoln, Nebraska, says snowboarder Riley Giles has told JJ that he’s engaged to girlfriend Lindsay Lohan.
“I want to be the first to say CONGRATS!” JJ tells OK! exclusively. If you’re wondering how and why this radio host from middle America would be so in-the-know, let us set your mind at ease. “I read an article about [Riley’s] ex-fiance; I was trying to book her on my radio show,” JJ explains to OK!. “I saw on her MySpace that she was bickering with Riley, so I went back to the article and realized it was Lindsay’s man! This is when I e-mailed him, and tried to get him on the show.”
JJ then claims that Lindsay and Riley, who met in rehab at Cirque Lodge in Sundance, Utah, got engaged, at the Utah resort the actress stayed at after she first exited rehab. JJ tells OK! that it was Riley himself who revealed he was engaged.
Although JJ doesn’t know Lindsay personally, he wishes her the best. “It seems as if the last few months have been tough for her,” he tells OK! “I think everyone deserves to be happy — that’s what life is all about. People say that her career is over, and that she has tarnished her image. I could not disagree more. She is young, and she has a lot of exciting things to look forward to, not only with her career, but with her personal life also!”
Although Lindsay’s rep denies any engagement, you might want to cue the sound of wedding bells anyway. “I wish the best to Lindsay and Riley!” JJ exclaims.
