Ryan Seacrest’s Mom Dishes
December 22nd, 2008
If you’r going to be a successful radio and TV personality as well as a producer of popular shows, like Ryan Seacrest, you might just get a little to busy to date, something the media mogul’s mom wishes would change.
"I wish he had more time to date," Connie Seacrest reveals to MomLogic.com. "That would be wonderful for him – and we’d stand a better chance for him to have a relationship. My rule is that you just observe and wait until they ask for your opinion."
So who does she want her super famous son ending up with?
"This would be the package I could see – a woman that would be his best friend, lover and eventually one day the mother of his children."
She also adds that both Ryan and his sister hold their parents’ marriage up as a standard for their own lives.
"I think both of my children want to have this kind of relationship," she says. Ryan realizes he’s got to give more time to a relationship if he wants it to be a lasting one. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!"
Fergie & Josh: Through Thick and Thin
December 8th, 2008 / Author: OK! Staff
Fergie and her fiance, Josh Duhamel, are teaming up for daily hikes until the singer, 33, reachs her goal of losing 13 pounds.
"Josh surprised her with a new iPod with her favorite artists to help motivate her," Fergie’s pal tells OK!. The petite star is complementing her workouts with meals delivered courtesy of chef Carrie Wiatt’s L.A.-based Diet Designs. The customized meals are a sharp contrast to Fergie’s menu of "fish, chips and everything fried," which she said she ate to pack on pounds for the upcoming musical Nine.
And the pressure to get fit is even greater with a big wedding on the way!
"They’re getting married in two months and she wants to feel good in her wedding dress," the pal says.
Meanwhile, you can catch Fergie when she hosts the Hollywood segments of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2009 when it airs Dec. 31, 2008 on ABC!

November 25th, 2008
The Twilight saga keeps going and going and….

Kristen also revealed some exciting details about the just announced sequel, New Moon, (based on Stephenie Meyer’s book by the same name) saying production will most likely start "in March."
"A lot of the book takes place in Italy, and I think we’re going to get to go to Italy– which is so cool," Stewart, 18, says. "For a while there they were like ‘Oh we don’t know if we have the money,’ but uh, now I think we may have the money," she laughed.
Twilight smashed box office expectations, raking in more than $7 million during its opening weekend. Kristen says she understands fans who are going to see the movie over and over again, and their obsession with the film’s heroine Bella Swan.
"It’s oddly engaging. I mean you read the book and you feel like you are the character," she says. "It’s a totally vicarious experience. She’s [Bella] such a good strong female character. I can understand why girls put themselves in her position."
Of her leading man, Robert Pattinson, Kristen says she knew immediately that he was the one to play the gorgeous and mysterious Edward.
"Everyone came in during the auditions and it was, like, so obvious they were thinking, ‘Am I posing the right way?’ He was thinking about more than that. It was like he knew what it would be like to be a 108-year-old vampire living alone."
She adds, "It’s a pretty serious role. On the surface it’s like, ‘Oh yeah! you’re playing the hottest vampire ever!’ But it’s a lot more than that."

But Kristen says don’t be fooled by R-Patts well-tuned sense of humility!
Of comments Pattinson, 22, has made saying he doesn’t know how to kiss or act, Kristen retorts, "I don’t know why he does that! He gets a kick out of that," she laughs. "He tries to do that..It’s totally contrived and intentional! He’s done so much press I think he’ s just taking the piss now–to use an English expression!"
Paris on Benji: I’m Still in Love
November 21st, 2008
Despite all the rumors swirling around Paris Hilton and Benji Madden’s break-up this past week, the celebutante herself took to the airwaves on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show to clear the air.
"Right now, we are just taking a break, and we are really good friends," she told Ryan this morning. "I love him. He’s such an amazing man.
"He has been so great to me, so loyal," she adds. "He is an incredible person, and we will always be really close. We will see what happens in the future. I am still in love with him."

As for the buzz surrounding her meet up with ex Stavros Niarchos and royal attention from Prince William, Paris insists there’s no one else.
"Not at all," she insists. "I have never been treated so well in my life or been trusted like this."
So what about that cozy moment capture on camera between her and Stavros? Paris says that’s all it was, a moment.
"Stavros came up and said hello," she explains. I have no interest in him."
Does this mean that the party-hopping Hilton is ready to hit the dating circuit again?
"No, not at all, that’s the last thing on my mind," she says. "I will always love [Benji]. I don’t want to date anyone. The thought of that just grosses me out."

Julianne Hough to Leave DWTS
November 20th, 2008
After a season marked by a hospital visit and subsequent surgery for endometriosis, dance pro Julianne Hough has announced that this season was probably her last on Dancing With the Stars in the future.
"I’m not going to be back next season," she confirmed this morning to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM show. "That’s final."
However Julianne, who was voted off the show Tuesday along with partner Cody Linley, insists her health issues are not at the center of her decision.
"It’s because I really, really want to focus on the music and… be taken seriously a little bit," she says, "and I think it’s hard to be on Dancing With the Stars and be singing and kind of get that confusion, and so I’m really going to focus on the music."
Julianne is a successful country musician in addition to her dancing talents, and it’s the music that will keep her going after she leaves what Ryan calls, "the mother ship" of the popular reality show.
"The music is where I want to be so you got to do what you got to do to get there," she reveals.
For more on Julianne’s decision, tune in to E! News at 7pm and 11pm, ET/PT.
Denise Richards’ Show: Round 2!
October 29th, 2008
It seems to have gotten a little less complicated for Denise Richards – despite rumors that her E! reality show had gotten the axe, the network announced today that it will be picking up Denise Richards: It’s Complicated for a second season.
The show is set to air again starting in 2009, once again following the life of the actress and mother while the world watches.
"We are thrilled about the renewal of the show and are geared up for an exciting second season with our continued partners at E! Entertainment," said the multi-tasking Ryan Seacrest, who is an executive producer for the program.
This season should shape up to be quite interesting as Denise’s ex-husband Charlie Sheen is expecting twin boys with his new wife, Brooke Mueller.
Miley Gushes Over Justin
October 23rd, 2008
Basically confirming what everyone else already knows, Miley Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest that she’s "maybe, maybe not" dating 20-year-old underwear model Justin Gaston.
The maybe response came after Ryan approached the topic on his KIIS FM radio show this morning, saying, "I keep seeing you walk around with a guy that I think is too old for you."
"Well…" Miley says with a pause, "I think you’re too old."

The affable radio host keeps at it, asking, "So, are you going out with him?"
"Why do you want to know? You have a crush on me?" Miley giggles.
After calmly explaining that no, he can’t have a crush on the 15-year-old, Ryan emphasizes that her fans want to know the truth about her and Justin and whether or not they’re together.
"Maybe, maybe not," she demurs.
Okay, so, if she was hypothetically allowed to date him, would she be?
"Yes, but I just think that right now everything is really good so I haven’t really been answering the question much because we’re just happy with everything the way everything has worked out," Miley reveals.
"He’s been a really great friend," the tween sensation continues. "There’s a lot going on, everyone started judging us as soon as we started hanging out. I’ve learned not to judge and just go into our friendship with an open mind and not worry about the age and everything. Our families are like, whatever happens happens, no matter what he’s a great friend."
Whooooaaa Miley! Sounds like someone’s in love!
After going on about her man for a bit longer, the Hannah Montana star finally pauses and giggles, "I’m totally gushing right now!’
Yes, Miley, yes you are.
Britney to Perform on The X Factor
September 24th, 2008
Britney Spears‘ next career move has been confirmed by none other than Simon Cowell. The American Idol judge tells Extra, "Yes, I think Britney Spears is going to perform on The X Factor."
The show, Cowell’s hit singing competition in England, is the number one show across the pond. And the outspoken judge says it’s the perfect venue for Brit.
"We didn’t GET her. She’s got a record coming out," he says. "We’re absolutely thrilled to have her. I’ve always said this about Britney–That she’s a hugely talented person. Everyone wants to work with her because she’s a star. She’s the number one booking in the world at the moment for a show."
Cowell says he’s also not concerned with Spears’ shaky past.
"The fact that she goes a bit crazy occasionally makes her more interesting," he says. "And now she has her career back on track. Fantastic. I’m thrilled."
Simon adds, "If she wants to shave her head before she comes on the show, she’s welcome to. I don’t care."
Meanwhile, Cowell was also happy to share his thoughts on another celebrity close to his heart, fellow Idol chum, Ryan Seacrest.
Seacrest lost the Emmy for Best Reality Show Host to Survivor’s Jeff Probst this past Sunday, but don’t expect Cowell to throw a pity party.
"The one thing about Ryan is that he’s humble like me, he wouldn’t have made my life impossible if he won. I felt terrible…Not that his ego would’ve gotten any bigger," he said sarcastically.
American Idol was nominated for a sixth Emmy this year for Best Reality Show, but has yet to win a golden statue. But Simon says he’s not worried.
"There’s no point in turning up and being humiliated," he said. "I have better things to do. I absolutely made the right decision [not to attend]. It’s not he end of the world [to lose], but you don’t need to sit there and be told you lost again and pretend to be happy when the other shows won when you’re not."
He adds, "If they told me in advance that we won, then I’ll turn up and look surprised!"
