Betty White Volunteered to Do Nude Scene!

The big buzz about the upcoming movie The Proposal is that superstar Sandra Bullock appears nude for the first time. But when OK! caught up Bullock’s co-star, TV legend Betty White at a special screening of the film in Manhattan, the 87-year-old told us Sandy wasn’t the only one willing to take it all off for the camera.
"I sort of volunteered," Betty joked with OK! about baring it all on-screen. "I said, ‘I’ll do it! This is a comedy, we’ll get laughs!’"
But seriously folks, the former Golden Girl revealed, "The only time I’ve ever been asked to do a nude scene was on my own time."
In the proposal, Sandra’s character forces hunky leading man Ryan Reynolds into marrying her. But the ever-feisty Betty tells OK! that’s just not her way.
"I’m sorry, I’m an old-fashioned girl," she explained. "A guy’s gotta call me and a guy’s gotta propose to me. I don’t want to be the pushy one. If he doesn’t, then that’s my tough luck."

"Why when I’m having such a good time?" she asked. "I can’t believe they keep asking me! They haven’t caught onto me yet."

Baby fever never seems to fade in Hollywood, but Sandra Bullock is having none of that – she’s happy with her life with husband Jesse James just as it is.
"You don’t have to give birth to someone to have a family. I’m not going to spend two seconds of my life wishing I had something I don’t. It’s hard to do it your way when you hear everyone else telling you to do it their way. I just want people to admit that there’s no one way to live your life," she tells Harper’s Bazaar in their June issue.
Sandra is the first to admit, though, that a baby could be in her future, saying, "Of course, I don’t know what’s going to happen. I could go home today and go, I haven’t started my period."
Either way, hubby Jesse will be there to support her, something she’s still getting used to.
"I’ve had to learn a hard lesson in that I’m not allowed to open car doors anymore. It was so hard for me to allow someone to take care of me," she confesses. "It’s not because I can’t take care of myself. But Jesse was like, ‘Just let me do this.’ "

Like many women, Sandra Bullock, 44, has longed for a child but has not yet fulfilled that dream. Now, the actress — who will soon appear in the comedy All About Steve — will become a full-time mother to 5-year-old Sunny, her stepdaughter with husband Jesse James, 39.
Already close to Sunny — the two are often seen at the playground — Sandra takes on this new responsibility under difficult circumstances: On March 10, Sunny’s mother, former adult film star Janine Lindemulder, 40, will head for federal prison to serve a six-month sentence for income tax evasion. While Janine is behind bars, an Orange County, Calif., court awarded temporary full custody of Sunny to Jesse.
“Sandra will be fantastic as a full-time mom,” says actor Denis O’Hare, her co-star in her upcoming film The Proposal. “Jesse’s daughter is lucky to have Sandra in her life.”
The role of stepmom is not new to Sandra: She’s also close to Jesse’s two older children, daughter Chandler, 13, and son Jesse Jr., 10, from his marriage to Karla James.
“If the court gave Jesse James custody of Sunny, well… that’s her daddy. He should take care of her,” Janine’s aunt, Marjorie Lindemulder, tells OK!. “I just hope and pray for everyone involved.”
As for Sandra, the challenge appears to be a blessing. “I don’t see the difference in having blood-related kids or children who come with your husband,” she said last
spring. “I am very blessed.”
