It was a battle of the gorgeous blondes at a screening of Inglourious Basterds in NYC on Monday night.
A stunning Diane Kruger dazzled the red carpet in an embellished mini and strappy heels while Lindsay Lohan showed some skin in a sexy sheer top and mini skirt.
The Basterds cast and crew (with the notable exception of Brad Pitt) continued their grueling promotional tour, partying the night away at the after-party for the Cinema Society screening sponsored by Grey Goose vodka at the Standard Hotel alongside stars Chace Crawford, Michelle Monaghan, Emma Roberts, Padma Lakshmi and John Stamos.

Bestill, wagging tongues: Leighton Meester is not engaged to Gossip Girl co-star and real life beau, Sebastian Stan, according to Celebuzz.
The rumors arose after Perez Hilton picked up an article from the New York Post dating back December 2008 with the rumor that the twosome had changed their Facebook status to "engaged."
Celebuzz cites sources that say the two are definitely not engaged.
Perez has since updated his post to say they aren’t betrothed, and Leighton doesn’t even have a Facebook page.
So, to clarify, a rumor from six months agothat was recently brought back to life by Perez Hilton isn’t true. We know, we’re as shocked as you are.

Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester hopes to pull a Jennifer Lopez by releasing her first pop album this year.
“It’s a mixture of different types of music,” she tells me. “It’s vibey and sexy and really fun and upbeat. I just love it. It’s the best. It’s like ultimate karaoke.”
The 22-year-old actress is one step ahead in the rock star game — she’s already got a tattoo. It’s a beach scene on her wrist.
“This was years ago before Gossip Girl, and my best friend Jess Manaford wrote and directed me in a movie called Remember The Days,” she says. “She’s got a lucky star, so I was saying one day that I really wanted to have a tattoo. At the end of the movie, I was so excited that we were finishing and I was also really sad because it was the best movie experience I’ve ever had. We were in North Carolina — so close — made friends for life. We became so close so we got tattoos.”
She claims it “absolutely” did not hurt.

Leighton’s A Star In More Ways Than One

Leighton Meester may be on the hit TV show Gossip Girl and have a doting boyfriend in Sebastian Stan, but the most memorable gift she ever received has nothing to do with fame or even love.
“Somebody named a star after me,” Leighton, 22, tells me. “My hairstylist, Liz, on the show, she named a star after me. It was very sweet. It was for my birthday.”
She continues, “I thought it was such a sweet, different gift. I didn’t really know how to react. I was like ‘thank you! I’ll wear it?!’ It was just really thoughtful and sweet, and it just goes to show that she really knows me and we’re very close.”
Exactly how did she receive it?
“She gave it to me in person. It’s a certificate.”
