Wannabe musician Heidi Montag must be jealous: After her song "Birthday" leaked on the Internet, Leighton Meester has snagged herself a record deal with Universal Republic Records, Perez Hilton reports.

Jennifer Hudson will return to the stage next month for the first time since the tragic murders of her family members.
E! Online’s Marc Malkin is reporting that Hudson will sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLIII on Feb. 1 in Tampa, Florida.
"She certainly can nail it," a source told Malkin. "She proved it at the Democratic National Convention."
Hudson has not performed or made any public appearances since the Oct. murders of her mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew Julian King in Chicago. William Balfour, Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law, has been formally charged with the murders.
The Oscar-winner was rumored to be performing at next week’s inauguration but that was later disproven.
Hudson is up for four Grammy’s for her self-titled album, including best R&B album, best female R&B vocal performance, best R&B song for "Spotlight" and best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals for her duet with Fantasia, "I’m His Only Woman."

Move over JT, Madonna and Britney Spears are collaborating once again!
Entertainment Tonight has confirmed that the two headline-making entertainers taped a performance over the weekend that will be shown at Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour, which kicks off on August 23 in Cardiff, Wales.
The last time these two shared a stage was at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards, where the two-some performed alongside Christina Aguilera and shared a controversial onstage liplock!
