Matthew & SJP Reveal New Twins

As much as we would love to have featured the first photos of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s new twin daughters in the pages of OK!, we’re still thrilled to see this adorable pic of the happy family.
In the photo released by the actors, SJP is holding little Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick while Matthew cradles Tabitha Hodge Broderick. The couple are already parents to 6-year-old son James Wilkie Broderick.
Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge were born on June 22 via a surrogate mother at East Ohio Regional Hospital. Matthew and Sarah Jessica announced the happy news in April. "We’re very excited!" he told <em>OK</em>! at the time.

SJP & Matthew Reveal Babies’ Names

As the news spread today that Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick had welcomed their twin daughters via a surrogate, the couple released a statement confirming the happy arrivals, saying they were "delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their two daughters."
"The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon," the couple say in the statement.
The twins arrived at 3:58 p.m. yesterday in Ohio: Marion Loretta Elwell weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz, and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 lbs.
"Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker’s side," the statement explains.
The news first broke in April that the couple were adding to their family by having twin daughters with the help of a surrogate mother. They have a son, James Wilkie, 6.
SJP’s Twins Have Arrived!

Double the congratulations are in order for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, as news station WTRF reports that the couples’ twins via surrogate arrived last night at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
The station also reports that SJP and Matthew are with the surrogate at the hospital, and are expected to make an annoucement about the births later this afternoon.
The couple announced in April that they were expecting twin girls. Son James Wilkie is 6.

SJP Surrogate Targeted for Break-In

This story is definitely one for the "Super Sleazy" file: two police chiefs in the area Sarah Jessica Parker’s surrogate mother lives were allegedly plotting to break into the woman’s home to gather info for a tablod, TMZ is reporting.
Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Dept. Chief Chad DoJack were allegedly planning to break into the Martins Ferry, Ohio home and then sell the info they found to a tabloid reporter, WTRF TV says. The burglars were going to try and get photos from the home to show living conditions, and there was already a break-in a few weeks ago. Investigators have already seized several computers.
Police Chief Barry Carpenter told WTOV: "I’m 100% innocent in this and my department is as well."
Kristin Davis on SATC 2: “It’s a New Adventure”

It’s not just the legions of fans that are getting excited for the sequel to Sex and the City: The Movie, even the stars are amped for their return to the big screen.
"We’re excited too," Kristin Davis told reporters at Modern Bride’s 25 Trendsetters of 2009 at NYC’s Palace Hotel on May 11. " It’s very exciting and very different than the first one, which is the luxury of getting to do another one."
After the show ended its run on TV, there were a few things left hanging with Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda, which was part of the fun of making the first movie, Kristin explains.
"We did the first one, and those were our pent-up things that we hadn’t finished in the show, so now we’re just starting fresh in a way, which is really, really exciting," she says. "It’s just a new adventure."
Another great reason to be thrilled about returning to the set with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall? Quality time!
"It’s like getting to be with your girlfriends for 18 hours a day, which, you know, nobody gets to do in their lives," Kristin reveals, adding that the actresses are also friends offscreen.
"We see each other when we’re not working," she tells OK!. "Everyone thinks we don’t, I don’t know why, [maybe] because we don’t parade down the street when we’re together."
And two other very exciting and tiny reasons to be thrilled being back on set? SJP’s twins!
"I get to hold one when she’s holding the other," jokes Kristin."I put in my request."

For some men, the prospect of becoming a dad to twin girls can be a little daunting, but not to Matthew Broderick, who announced on Tuesday that he and wife Sarah Jessica Parker are expecting a pair of little girls this summer.
OK! caught up with the 47-year-old star to see how he feels about the news. "We’re very excited!" he beamed. And when we congratulated SJP on their latest addition to their family, the Sex and the City star grinned from ear to ear and said, "Thank you!"
