After various reports circulated that Jon Gosselin’s alleged mistress, 23-year-old Deanna Hummel, would be appearing on future episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8, TLC is firing back, saying that just isn’t so.
"There are no plans to use her. We are in hiatus and all future episodes haven’t even been planned," the network says in a statement.
Somehow we don’t think Kate Gosselin would let that woman anywhere near her interview couch, much less her eight little ones.
Not only are Jon and Kate Gosselin taking a permanent break by filing for divorce yesterday, their TLC reality show will also be on hiatus. The network announced today that next Monday’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 will be a package of clips, with the next all-new episode not airing until Aug. 3. The couple just announced on last night’s show that they would be separating.
The L.A. Times reports that sources close to the show said the production break is the network’s idea.
Yesterday Kate filed for divorce in Pennsylvania, but while the couple might be living out some aspects of their split in public, those papers will remain sealed and away from the media, TMZ reports.
The site says court clekrs were called in and told by the head of the department and were told not to release the papers under any circumstances.
It’s getting harder and harder to keep up with on-again-off-again -on-again couple Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn: Despite filing legal separation papers on April 24, Sean had those documents dismissed yesterday, Extra reports.
So for those keeping score at home, they’re on again.
The couple wed in April of 1996 and have two kids together, Dylan and Hopper Jack. They first filed for separation in December 2007, but reunited months later in April 2008. The Penns then stayed together until April when the second split happened.
We hope second time’s the charm for this reunion!
Seems like there’s no chance of Kate Walsh ending her marriage with Alex Young amicably: her lawyer Laura Wasser has gone ahead and requested a trial date in their divorce, TMZ reports, which isn’t a sign of friendly terms.
Alex is reportedly all about getting info on the house they bought before they were married, and Kate allegedly feels pressured to give him informaiton she thinks he already has. The two were only married for 14 months.
Complicated, but it boils down to this: getting a court date means they’ve got to settle things on their own, or they’ll go before a judge. Alex’s lawer tells TMZ the case is "nowhere near ready for trial."

Lindsay Lohan might be heading for a rocky road ahead in her highly-publicized split from Samantha Ronson, but the starlet does have one bright spot to focus on that could help pull her through: a new movie. Sort of.
Lilo’s newest flick Labor Pains won’t be appearing in theaters, but it will be airing as a TV movie special on ABC Family on July 19. The premiere and publicity for the film could give her something else to give her attention to in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Sam seems to be coping just fine – while her mom and sister were checking into restraining orders against Lindsay, the DJ snuck off to Las Vegas and was spotted having a low-key dinner at Strip House at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Monday.
"Samantha ate alone, had the filet, drank water and was seen texting on her phone for a bit," an insider tells OK!.

In the latest chapter in the feud between Jodie Sweetin and her ex, Cody Herpin, the Full House star has decided to make their legal separation final, and has filed a motion for divorce.
Both Jodie and Cody were in court today, according to TMZ, and submitted clean drug tests. Although Jodie took the first step by filing for separation in November, a judge ruled that she wasn’t allowed to be with her 8-month-old daughter Zoie without supervision. Jodie has admitted a past addiction to meth, something she’s struggled to overcome.
Jodie and Cody’s marriage lasted just over a year, with the former kid star chronicling many of the moments of her life, including her first anniversary, as a special guest OK! blogger. A lot has changed since then:
"What I really want to do this weekend though is find some time with Cody to just be a ‘couple’ for a few hours," she blogged on July 12, days before her anniversary. Having a new baby definitely changes things — in a wonderful way of course. But there is some adjustment!"
Just last August, Drew Barrymore was gushing over her close relationship with Cameron Diaz, calling her “the best friend anyone can ever have… it’s like she’s my big sister.”
The actresses, who bonded while shooting Charlie’s Angels in 2000, “did everything together,” a pal of Drew tells OK!.
So why, as <em>OK</em>! reported, did they avoid each other at the Jan. 11 Golden Globes CAA afterparty at L.A.’s Sunset Tower Hotel?
Drew and Cam “stayed on opposite sides of the room the entire night,” a guest told OK! at the time.
“At one point Drew breezed by Cameron and didn’t even glance at her. It was obvious they’re not best buds anymore,” said our source.
Perhaps they’ve grown apart?
Since Cameron’s father, Emilio, died last year, “she has become a more serious person,” her friend tells OK!.
“Drew can be silly and that’s just not where Cameron’s at.”
That extends to their love lives.
Drew, 33, has had flings with a slew of younger men, including Ed Westwick, 21, Fabrizio Morretti, 28, and Justin Long, 30, while Cameron, 36, has moved in with model — and Jennifer Aniston’s ex — Paul Sculfor, 37.
Drew’s friend tells OK!, “Now that Cameron and Paul have moved in together, Drew’s kind of a third wheel.”
Despite Lindsay Lohan publicly denouncing the rumor that she and girlfriend Samantha Ronson have broken up, there seems to be something a little fishy going on: Lilo was spotted out and about Tuesday night at Apple Lounge in West Hollywood, without her lady love attached at the hip as usual.
"She was hanging out in a cabana with owner Allison Melnick and two girlfriends, no Sam in sight," an eyewitness tells OK!.

Earlier this week Linds slammed the breakup rumors that have been swirling recently, after multiple media outlets reporting big fights between the twosome. One particular rant included the actress screaming at Sam, "When I storm off, you are supposed to follow me!"
However, Lindsay adamantly denied any split, writing on her blog:
"we did NOT break up!
access hollywood, extra, et, every tabloid, page six… AND every GOSSIP website. Get your stories straight please. It’s really annoying to have all of your friends emailing you saying, i saw, i read, etc… NOT TRUE."
Jennifer Love Hewitt was so close to walking down the aisle with Ross McCall, she’d already bought her wedding gown, so it was “devastating” for her to end the engagement during the holidays.
“He broke her heart,” a source close to the Ghost Whisperer star says.
OK! has learned that the actress suspected her fiancé cheated on her. It reportedly happened last summer, but she was so in love with him, she tried to salvage their romance, even seeking couples counseling.
“The relationship never recovered,” the source says. “With all the talk over the holidays about their wedding, children and their future, she realized Ross was not the guy for her.”
They lived in Jennifer’s Toluca Lake, Calif., estate. “I saw them together on Dec. 27, and she looked miserable,” a neighbor tells OK!. “She looked like she had the weight of the world on her shoulders.”
A rep for Hewitt tells OK! it is “absolutely false” that Ross cheated. But Jennifer, 29, does have a history of relationships gone bad, having dated Carson Daly, Wilmer Valderrama and John Mayer.
“She thought that Ross was ‘the one,’ ”adds the source. “It’s going to take her awhile to bounce back from this, but she is such a great girl — she’ll find Mr. Right.”
