Benji Madden Definitely Over Paris

During the DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl in Tampa, Florida, Good Charlotte twins Joel and Benji Madden celebrated Super Bowl Sunday with, what else? parties!

The night before, Benji spent most of his time behind the turn tables at the Models and Bottles party, where he was joined by another celeb DJ, Samantha Ronson and girlfriend, Lindsay Lohan!

The on-again, off-again couple was rumored to have gotten into yet another public argument, but Benji tells OK!, "They’re great. We’ve known Sam for a long time and they’re great girls." Benji added that when it comes to his DJ-ing skills, "Samantha gives me tips. She’s been DJ-ing a lot longer."

Then there’s that near run-in with Madden’s ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton, who showed up as a celebrity guest at the Models and Bottles party. The two, have not been spotted together since their break-up, spent most of the night on opposite sides of the room.

When asked if he’s dating, Benji told OK!, "I’ve just been working. I’m great. I can’t complain. I have a great life, I’m working, I’m happy."

Benji’s brother Joel Madden also has a reason to be happy. His daughter with Nicole Richie, Harlow, just celebrated her first birthday.

"She’s great, she’s doing everything a 1-year-old does," he told OK!, adding that his   relationship with Nicole works because "we love and support each other."

Will.i.Am Says Fergie’s Wedding was “Dope”

Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.Am caught up with OK! at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa, Florida, on Jan. 25, where he revealed details of Josh Duhamel and Fergie’s very private wedding.

The singer, who tells OK! he "was really late and missed the ceremony but the reception was great," gave the newlyweds a custom-made wedding gift.

"[I gave them] a whole bunch of flowers and stuff…and a dope beat," he revealed, adding, "We vibed in the studio. I’m so happy for her."

The Black Eyed Peas have a new album coming out in May. Will.i.Am says he can’t wait for the group to be back together again. As for Josh and Fergie, he tells OK!, "They’re just super down to earth, real cats," he said, adding that they couple even had a keg at their reception. "To me, they’re not celebrities because they’re so raw."

Blake & Penn’s Romantic Super Bowl Weekend

It’s safe to say that Gossip Girl’s reigning hottie couple, Penn Badgely and Blake Lively, are the cutest couple ever!

OK! caught up with the pair over Super Bowl Weekend at the Direc TV Celebrity Beach Bowl party in Tampa, Florida, where they shared some of their favorite things to do as a couple.

"Umm…we like to go out to dinner!" Blake told OK! with a smile on her face. "I would say the most amazing experience we have together is living in the city," Penn adds. "It’s the time in between when you’re walking from a restaurant to a theater or whatever. Just being able to live in New York City and be young, it’s an amazing gift to share that."

 


The pair may love NYC, but the two seemed happily cozy in Tampa, where OK! learned that the two hunkered down at the Seminole Hard Rock and Casino Hotel. But unlike other celebs who prefered to party the weekend away, Blake and Penn kept things low key, staying in their room, enjoying private dinners and going to bed early. (uh-huh!)

"We’re lucky," says Blake. "We wouldn’t be together if we didn’t enjoy each other’s company."

"It’s been overwhelmingly positive," Penn adds, pin-pointing the success of the show. "It’s really been a ride for us all just the way our lives have changed. I mean we’re doing this!"

 


Adrienne Bailon Dishes on Kim & Reggie

Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon has got the inside scoop on Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Reggie Bush. Bailon, who dates Kim’s little brother, Rob Kardashian, caught up with OK! at Floyd’s nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa, Florida, over Super Bowl weekend, where she revealed what the couples like to do on their down time from filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

"[We go on double dates] all the time," she tells OK!. "Our favorite spot is Casa Vega in the valley. We really like to chill on normal stuff. We used to play Rock Band over at Reggie’s house all the time. Kim refuses to sing. I try to force her to be the lead singer but she says ‘No, I just want to watch!’"

Bailon says she looks at Kim and Reggie’s relationship as a model for her own.

"They’re very considerate of one another," she says. "They’re so sweet and nice to each other."

Reggie himself tells OK!, "It’s true love. It’s not a fake relationship or anything that’s for publicity. We’re really actually in love and we have a good time. We enjoy each other’s company."

He also admits it wasn’t necessarily Kim’s physical assets that caught his eye in the beginning!

"I’ll tell you that the thing I love most is that she can cook. Very good!" he says. "She’s the first girl that’s ever cooked a meal for me. I was already stunned by how beautiful she is, then she cooked for me… and it was done. You can’t ask for much more."

 

Kim Kardashian Furious Over Jess Weight Attacks

Kim Kardashian is raving mad over the media scrutiny Jessica Simpson has been getting since pictures of her looking plump hit the internet.

While she’s very busy partying it up down in Tampa, Florida, for this weekend’s Super Bowl, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star managed to take some time out to write a refute to all the critics on her official blog.

Kim writes:

"I was doing Super Bowl interviews for my Leather & Laces party I’m hosting down here in Tampa, Florida, and EVERYONE seems to be asking me about Jessica Simpson’s alleged weight gain. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous!!! She is not fat at all and I am actually offended that people are giving her such a hard time over this!"

Kardashian pleads, "LEAVE HER ALONE!!! First of all, her outfit was FABULOUS! I loved that Fendi leopard belt with those high waisted jeans. She is so drop dead gorgeous and the fact that the media is sending this message out to young girls is mind blowing!

I am probably twice Jessica’s size, so what do you guys think of me then???"

Hmm, how to answer that one…

Kendra Gets Her Own Reality Show

Kendra Wilkinson may have left the mansion, but that doesn’t mean she’s done with reality TV!

Access Hollywood is reporting that the former Girl Next Door is shooting her own reality show, based on life after Hef and Playboy.

 

Kendra will be filming this weekend in Tampa where she’ll be attending the Super Bowl. No word yet on what the title of the new show will be, but expect to see a lot of Kendra’s main squeeze, fiance and football player Hank Baskett, who she plans to marry this summer!

The couple announced their engagement in Nov., 2008. 

Stars Rally Behind Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson, 27, will have full support of her fellow musicians when she takes the stage Feb. 1 at the Super Bowl to sing the National Anthem, her first performance since her mother Darnell Donerson, 57, brother Jason Hudson, 29, and nephew Julian King, 7, were murdered Oct. 24, 2008.

"It’s tragedy beyond tragedy and the fact that she’s even committing to the Super Bowl is very brave of her and very strong of her," singer Josh Groban, 27, tells OK!. "She will certainly inspire a lot of people by having that strength and by doing what she does best and doing what her family would love her to do which is to show off that glorious voice. We’re all rooting for her and we send her our love and support."

Legendary Herbie Hancock, 68, also commends Hudson on her strength.

"That’s so courageous of her to do and I’m sure that she sees this as an opportunity to be able to emerge and stand up on her own two feet in spite of the tragedy," Hancock says to OK!. "And also to make that tragedy not just be in vain, to use it as a way to move forward, to be an example for others."

Others, like singer Monica, 28, point to Hudson’s faith as helping her move on.

"I know that she believes in god," Monica tells OK!. "And if you really believe it then you can live and you can really survive anything. If she holds on to that in her mind, she will be fine and she will sing with the love for the people that she lost."

Even the sports world has rallied around Hudson in admiration and support.

"I’m a fan of hers," San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman, 24, tells OK!. "I think she has a beautiful voice and the tragedy and everything she had to deal with (was huge). I think it will be a lot of people really feeling what she’s going through and also being proud of what she’s doing."

Matt Lauer to Interview President Obama

A chat with President Barack Obama can’t be easy to get these days, but NBC’s Matt Lauer has accomplished just that, nabbing the new commander-in-chief for an interview right before the Super Bowl on Feb. 1.

 

The Today show host’s talk with Obama will air live from the White House during NBC’s pre-game coverage of the Super Bowl, with additional footage airing on Feb. 2 during Today.

 

Matt’s chat with the prez will be the first televised interview from the White House since the Jan. 20 inauguration of the 44th president. And if the audience for past interviews featuring Obama is any indication, this one will be watched by millions as well.

Jennifer Hudson to Perform at Super Bowl

Jennifer Hudson will return to the stage next month for the first time since the tragic murders of her family members.

E! Online’s Marc Malkin is reporting that Hudson will sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLIII on Feb. 1 in Tampa, Florida.

"She certainly can nail it," a source told Malkin. "She proved it at the Democratic National Convention."

Hudson has not performed or made any public appearances since the Oct. murders of her mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew Julian King in Chicago. William Balfour, Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law, has been formally charged with the murders.

The Oscar-winner was rumored to be performing at next week’s inauguration but that was later disproven.

 

Hudson is up for four Grammy’s for her self-titled album, including best R&B album, best female R&B vocal performance, best R&B song for "Spotlight" and best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals for her duet with Fantasia, "I’m His Only Woman."
