Celebrities love to choose unique names for their little ones. Apple Martin, Zuma Rossdale, and of course Suri Cruise are just a few examples of exotic celeb baby names. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes received a lot of attention for their choice of Suri in 2006. According to the NY Post, the couple might have thought twice about choosing the name for their daughter had they known it means “pickpocket” in Japanese, “turned sour” in French, and “horse mackerels” in Italian. There are certainly more rambunctious little girls than Suri Cruise, but most little girls aren’t the only offspring of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, so people don’t pay much attention when they act up. But even the presence of fans and photographers wasn’t going to stop the impish Suri from getting a bit wild as she and Katie strolled around Boston on Friday.

Thanks to her parents’ varied work schedules, little Suri Cruise has gotten to experience a lot of the world in just the last few months. She’s spent time in Australia on the set of mom Katie Holmes‘ film Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, in Boston with dad Tom Cruise while he filmed Knight & Day and now she’s experiencing a New York autumn on the set of The Romantics on Long Island, where she spent all day yesterday watching her mom work.

Miniature fashionista Suri Cruise is learning first-hand just how much a day of hitting the stores can take out of you physically. Earlier today, the superstar kid joined mom Katie Holmes for an afternoon of hunting for the perfect Halloween costume in Boston, where dad Tom Cruise is shooting his new film Knight & Day.
