The whole point of America's Got Talent — and its UK counterpart Britain's Got Talent — is to find those diamonds in the rough, those unpolished gems who would have gone undiscovered their entire lives had it not been for a chance to show their stuff on the hit NBC show.
And just like BGT, which this past spring discovered the year's most unlikely talent in the voice of middle-aged Briton Susan Boyle, it looks like America's Got Talent might have stumbled on the next big thing.
