The big buzz about the upcoming movie The Proposal is that superstar Sandra Bullock appears nude for the first time. But when OK! caught up Bullock’s co-star, TV legend Betty White at a special screening of the film in Manhattan, the 87-year-old told us Sandy wasn’t the only one willing to take it all off for the camera.
"I sort of volunteered," Betty joked with OK! about baring it all on-screen. "I said, ‘I’ll do it! This is a comedy, we’ll get laughs!’"
But seriously folks, the former Golden Girl revealed, "The only time I’ve ever been asked to do a nude scene was on my own time."
In the proposal, Sandra’s character forces hunky leading man Ryan Reynolds into marrying her. But the ever-feisty Betty tells OK! that’s just not her way.
"I’m sorry, I’m an old-fashioned girl," she explained. "A guy’s gotta call me and a guy’s gotta propose to me. I don’t want to be the pushy one. If he doesn’t, then that’s my tough luck."

So does the actress and animal rights activist have any plans to retire after 60 years in the entertainment industry? Not a chance!
"Why when I’m having such a good time?" she asked. "I can’t believe they keep asking me! They haven’t caught onto me yet."

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds’ hush-hush ceremony may have shocked fans, but it came as no surprise to their closest friends.
“It is exactly what she wanted,” a pal of the couple tells OK!. “This is the happiest I’ve seen her.”
The couple said their “I dos” at a remote retreat outside of 31-year-old Ryan’s hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sept. 27, less than six months after Scarlett, 23, publicly debuted her diamond solitaire engagement ring.
In keeping with the low-key duo’s private personalities, the wedding included a handful of close friends and family, including Scarlett’s twin brother, Hunter, and her mother, Melanie Sloan.
While Scarlett plays a free-spirited romantic in her recent hit Vicky Cristina Barcelona, in real life, “I believe in finding a soulmate,” she told Cosmopolitan magazine.
Meanwhile, Ryan — whose upcoming movie is aptly called The Proposal — can’t wait for their next life-changing event: parenthood.
“I feel like I need to fulfill the genetic paradigm, the destiny of it,” he tells OK!. “It definitely appeals to me.”

Alanis Apparently Fine with Ryan’s Engagement

Only hours after the news broke that Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson had gotten engaged, the Van Wilder star’s former fiancée Alanis Morissette was spotted on a flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles, where eyewitnesses tell OK! the Canadian singer appeared unfazed by the announcement.
"Alanis seemed fine," one of the pop star’s fellow passengers tells OK!, adding that she "looked beautiful."
And, judging by the copy of OK! Magazine Alanis was intently reading during the flight, the best way to keep her mind off of her now-engaged ex-beau was to catch up on all the latest in celebrity news in the pages of OK!
Ryan and Alanis had been engaged for almost three years before finally announcing the end of their marriage plans in February of 2007. He began seeing Scarlett shortly after the split.
Sandra’s Drunk Driver Arraigned

Lucille Gatchell, the alleged drunk driver who hit Sandra Bullock and her husband, Jesse James, Friday night, was arraigned in court on Tuesday in Massachussetts.
The 64-year old woman pleaded ‘Not Guilty’ to a charge of driving under the influence and a marked lanes violation.
The Boston Herald is reporting that Gatchell’s lawyer did, however, give a big ‘thank-you’ to Sandra and Jesse after the hearing, saying, "Miss Gatchell is very relieved that no one was injured. She also wants to express her gratitude to Ms. Bullock and Mr. James for what she understands was their concern for her well being after the accident."
Sandra and Jesse were not hurt in Friday’s accident in Gloucester, Mass., after Gatchell’s car crossed the center divider line and hit the couple’s SUV head-on. Bullock is currently in Massachussetts shooting the film, The Proposal.
Gatchell is set to appear again in court for a pre-trial hearing on June 6.
Sandra Bullock Involved in Head-On Crash

Sandra Bullock and her husband, Jesse James, are unhurt after they were hit by a suspected drunk driver in a head-0n collision on Friday night in Gloucester, Mass.
Police say the actress and her hubby were being driven in an SUV when a station wagon crossed the center divider line and hit them. Both cars were totaled but no one was hurt. Officers at the scene said they were both going about 15 to 20 miles an hour.
The driver of the other car, Lucille Gatchell, registered a blood alcohol level of .20 percent–more than twice the legal limit.
Police said Sandra,43, was "gracious" and concerned about whether Gatchell was ok. The actress, who starred in films such as Crash, Speed, and Miss Congeniality, is in Massachussetts filming the romantic comedy, The Proposal.
Scarlett & Ryan’s Secret Rendezvous

Amidst rumors that Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson had called it quits, OK! has learned that the pair are indeed not only still together, but are heating things up in cold Massachussetts!
On April 5, Scarlett paid her man a visit on his Newton, Mass., film set where he’s currently shooting The Proposal. According to a pal, Ryan, 31, and Scarlett, 23, are totally in synch, except when it comes to her upcoming album, Anywhere I Lay My Head.
"Ryan joked that he loves her album but is mad that he didn’t get a shout out in the ‘thank you’ part of her album art," the friend says. "She doesn’t like her public life on display."
