January 27th, 2009

Lindsay Price may have finally found a keeper in How I Met Your Mother’s Josh Radnor. The Lipstick Jungle star, 32,–who divorced producer Shawn Pillar in 2007 and has since been in a revolving door of relationships–and Josh, 34, showed up together at the Jan. 20 Svedka party at Guy’s in L.A. where they were inseparable.

"They were laughing so hard and cracking each other up," a fellow partygoer tells OK!. "They looked happy and were constantly touching."

As for this couple’s future? They’re looking to swap coasts and try living in NYC for a while. "He’s following her to fashion week–they’re really happy!" says the insider.

Speaking of fashion, Lindsay may want to watch her back at fashion week! A stage manager has been charged with stealing $30,000 of designer bags and clothes from the set of the actress’s show Lipstick Jungle and trying to sell them on eBay. The loot included 16 coats, bags and suits by Prada, Gucci, Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana.

It really is a jungle out there!

Designer Clothes Stolen From Lipstick Jungle

January 26th, 2009

It sounds like someone has been looting the set of Lipstick Jungle before it gets canceled.

A stage manager from the comedy-drama starring Brooke Shields, has been arrested and charged for allegedly stealing $30,000-worth of designer goodies from its wardrobe and trying to sell them on eBay.

Cops were called in to investigate after a French designer Sylvia Toledano, who had loaned the production a crystal-encrusted clutch bag, found it for sale online.

Investigators posing as buyers found 16 coats, bags and suits by Prada, Gucci, Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana in his apartment.

It seems Moreira — who worked for a Brooklyn storage and production facility used by the show — tried to offload a Burberry coat, plus the Toledano bag on the cops, saying they were going so cheap because they’d, "fallen off the back of a truck."

They arrested him Friday.

Perhaps Moreira helped himself to the pricey goods because he thought the show wouldn’t be needing them any more.

The future of the NBC show, based on author Candace Bushnell’s follow-up to Sex and the City, hangs in the balance.

All the taped episodes have now aired, and network execs are still deciding whether to commission more.

Beckhams’ Staff Busted for Theft!

October 13th, 2008

When the cat’s away, the mice will play!  Or, in this case, when David and Victoria Beckham are away, their houskeeping staff will make off with all of their possessions!

Britian’s the Telegraph is reporting that two housekeepers have been arrested for stealing several items from Posh and Beck’s home in Hertfordshire, England, and for trying to sell them on an internet auction site.

Victoria’s parents reportedly contacted police after they recognized some of the items for sale.  They paid a trip to the house and discovered the same things missing.

"They were most personal and sentimental items collected by Victoria and David during their time abroad," a source told the Telegraph.  "Some of the things were given to them as presents and are unique because they were specially made for them. They include mostly small but expensive trinkets and some pieces on decorative display."

The stolen property was reportedly being offered on the internet to the highest bidder.  The housekeepers, a couple in their 50s, were arrested on Friday.  David and Victoria were not at home at the time.  The super-couple has been living in L.A. while David plays for the L.A. Galaxy.  The Beckhams bought their England home in 1999 for 2.5 million British Pounds.  Also known as "Beckingham Palace," the couple has spent millions making it their dream home.
