Hackers Get Britney, Ellen

June 29th, 2009

If you saw a strange message from Britney Spears or Ellen DeGeneres on Twitter or Twitpic this weekend, disregard: Someone hacked into their accounts and posted fake information.

The Associated Press reports that Twitpic shut down part of its service due to a "vulnerability" in their posting system.

Peter Facinelli Needs Your Help!

June 18th, 2009

Peter Facinelli needs your help, loyal fans, if he doesn’t want to lose the back of his Twilight director’s chair, the piece of fabric with his own name on it, to his best bud in a bet.

Peter bet pal Rob "Rob D." DeFranco he could reach 500,000 followers on Twitter by tomorrow. If he loses, he says bye-bye to that piece of his chair.

However if Peter does reach his goal, his pal has to dance down Hollywood Boulevard in a bikini while singing Beyoncé’s "Single Ladies" and holding a sign that says, "Twitter Me."

Right now he’s at around 235,000 followers, and has promised to give that chair back to one of his followers if he wins.

So what are you waiting for, Twi-hards, get to clicking and help Dr. Carlisle Cullen out!

Lindsay Lohan’s All A-Twitter

June 17th, 2009

Lindsay Lohan has been going as Twitter crazy as all the other celebs these days, chronicling her family birthdays, deep thoughts and whatever comes to mind. But despite a cryptic Tweet and a dark picture she shared from nightclub The Avenue that read "So dark - where’s jb cheater?" that seemed to accuse Justin Timberlake of cheating on Jessica Biel that night, LiLo says she’s not sticking her nose in anyone else’s business.

Today she replied to Perez Hilton’s story about her catching JT kissing another girl at the club, tweeting, "I don’t twitter about my personal life! Let alone, someone else’s life! I’ve learned my lesson some time ago. Just trying to clear the air! And I’m tired of changing my password every other day!"

The second part of her message seemed to refer to someone who’s been trying to hack into her Twitter account.

Leave Lindsay’s Twitter alone  –  the real thing is much more amusing than any fake would be!
