Charlie Sheen “So Excited” for Twins

The stars of Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer stepped out on Thursday to honor the show’s creator, writer and producer, Chuck Lorre, who was being presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Today was also a big day for Sheen, who left his very pregnant (with twins!) wife, Brooke Mueller, at home. When asked how Brooke was doing, the former bad boy told OK!, "She’s fine! Everything is great. She’s HUGE, but she’s doing well and we’re so excited. We simply can’t wait."

Speaking of children, the actor told OK! that since he began doing Two and a Half Men, he’s attracted a new group of fans.
"I’ve got a chance to reinvent myself to a different generation," he explained. "I enjoy that. I’ve never had a time in my career where children approached me as young as seven and people in their 70s and 80s… that are just so grateful for the show. It’s really amazing."
When it comes to bringing his future babies to the show, Sheen tells OK!, "absolutely, definitely… well, when they’re a little older."
Sheen’s two other daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards, Sam and Lola, are also excited to be big sisters! "They can’t wait either," he gushed to OK!.

It’s been a great 2008 for Charlie Sheen. Not only has the award-winning actor gotten married to sweetheart Brooke Mueller in a wedding featured exclusively in the pages of OK!, he’s just confirmed that he and his new wife are going to be the proud parents to twin boys!
"I’m truly blessed," Charlie tells OK! in an exclusive statement. "I’m already the proud father of three beautiful daughters, and I’m delighted that they’ll now have two little brothers."
"Life doesn’t get any better than this," the Two and a Half Men star adds.

And then, in August, the newlyweds announced the news that they were expecting. “Brooke and I are thrilled!," Charlie, who has two daughters, Sam and Lola, from his previous marriage to Denise Richards, and a daughter Cassandra, from former girlfriend Paula Profitt, told OK! at the time. "She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom."

Backlash after Katherine Heigl’s antics this year has taken the shine off Grey’s Anatomy, so Sandra and Chandra are out. Dianne Wiest already has an Oscar and is brilliant as Gabriel Byrne’s therapist on In Treatment, but our guess is Candice’s TV past will get her the Emmy this year to add to the five she has at home for Murphy Brown.

While we feel Alec Baldwin was shafted last year due to bad press surrounding those voicemails he left for his daughter and has recovered nicely in the public eye, Tony Shalhoub has won six awards for his quirky role on Monk, the last in 2005, and who are we to mess with a record like that?

“I think he is so funny and talented and it is his turn to win. And he is always the best dressed!” she says of The Office actor.

Glenn deserves an Emmy for her hard-hitting role on Damages, but we think Kyra’s body of work on The Closer is such a wide critical success and favorite with fans that she’ll squeak out a win over Glenn and last year’s winner, Sally Field.

“What a competitive field, all are so amazing. I think Sally’s work was phenomenal this season, as it always is and it just may be her time!" she says. " She wore a gorgeous Valentino last year and I look forward to seeing what designer she chooses this year!”

While both NBC shows are fan favorites, this is Tina Fey’s year and we think she’ll bring her show with her to the podium again for best comedy series over the popular Entourage, especially since Adrian and the boys were off TV for a year.

Although it’s currently only in its second season now, Mad Men has already scored 16 Golden Globe wins this year. So why not bag up the Emmy to go, too? Besides the winning streak, the highly-stylized retro show has garnered a lot of buzz, even among those who don’t watch it.

OK! Exclusive: How Brooke Gave Charlie the Baby News

After confirming earlier today that he and new wife Brooke Mueller are expecting their first child together, Charlie Sheen talked exclusively to OK! about just how his gorgeous bride told him the happy news.
“Brooke informed me two days ago that very soon we’d be producing our own version of Two-and-a-Half Men,’" recalls the Emmy-winning actor, who is already the father to three daughters, Cassandra, 13, Samantha, 4, and 3-year-old Lola. "That would imply it’s a boy, so until we know, we’ll refer to it as ‘Two-and-a-Half People.’ We’re beyond happy to be new parents together."
Brooke, who wed Charlie on May 30, 2008, in a ceremony featured exclusively in the pages of OK!, echoes that sentiment, telling OK!, “We couldn’t be more excited to add to our already big and happy family!”

The only locks for nominations are NBC hits The Office and defending champion 30 Rock. It’s hard to bet against Curb Your Enthusiasm as well. The Emmy favorite should be back looking for its first win (it’s lost four times) and has a better chance at the "HBO spot" than Entourage, whose season concluded too long ago that it may not be fresh in voters’ minds. Two and a Half Men will take the sole "traditional sitcom" slot, leaving one more open for perhaps critically acclaimed freshmen series Pushing Daisies.

America Ferrera should be back to defend her crown while Tina Fey will look to follow in America’s footsteps of sweeping the big three awards in a single season (Golden Globe, SAG and Emmy). 2006 winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus and perennial bridesmaid Mary-Louise Parker are the safe picks for the last two spots, which means the Desperate Housewives could be shut out yet again (first time was in 2006). Should one make it in, it will probably be Marcia Cross.

This may be the easiest race to gauge out of the main five. Rainn Wilson, Jon Cryer and Neil Patrick Harris are looking solid to return. Plus, Neil is announcing the nominees tomorrow, and that’s a good sign (but not always — Eric McCormack missed out on a nod when announcing in 2002). After sending in a poor tape last year, John Krasinski learned his lesson this time around and should find himself shortlisted. Spoilers include 30 Rock players Jack McBrayer and Tracy Morgan.

A wide-open race, we are guaranteed a new winner as last year’s champ Jaime Pressly failed to even make the Top 10 list! Vanessa Williams is an easy pick to return, and Holland Taylor and Jenna Fischer ought to find themselves back in the mix too. We may see new faces in Jean Smart and the ever-bubbly Kristin Chenoweth, who is also announcing the nominees tomorrow.

Is Denise Richards using her kids as a ratings ploy?
As viewership for her E! reality show Denise Richards: It’s Complicated is diminishing week by week, the former Bond Girl is now out to increase the numbers by focusing on her legal issues with Charlie Sheen and their daughters, Sam, 4, and Lola, 3.
“She wants to continue using the kids and Charlie for ratings, and Charlie is determined to stop it,” a Sheen insider tells OK!.
Denise would need the court’s approval to showcase her girls on her show more. Currently, Sam and Lola are under the actress’ primary care and allowed to appear for 10 percent in each episode. Denise is hoping to increase that to a full 100 percent now by pushing for full custody.
“Denise argues that she shouldn’t be criticized, when Charlie once had Sam on Two and a Half Men,” the source says. “But Sam was only 8 months old at the time, was in a baby basket and presented as a character for exactly 39 seconds.”
Denise’s rep denies she wants to increase her daughters’ roles on the show.
Charlie Wants ‘No Ties’ at His Wedding

Two and a Half Men star, Charlie Sheen, is getting candid about his upcoming wedding to fiance, Brooke Mueller. The actor caught up with Extra recently on the set of his show to talk about his nuptial plans, which do not include, among other things, ties.
"No ties at my wedding," Sheen told Extra of his plans to have a casual wedding ceremony. "It’s going to be hot. I want people to be comfortable."
Sheen,43, says he can’t wait to marry Mueller (who is a special correspondent for Extra) and says he’d like to have more children in the near future. But the actor, who has three daughters, says he’s not sure he could handle a boy.
"I wouldn’t know what to do with a boy at this point," Sheen says, adding, "We’re set on a name, so if it’s a girl she’s going through life with ‘Bob’."
