It can’t be easy raising six young children, even if you’re a superstar like Angelina Jolie. And as any stressed-out parent knows, having a hobby that guarantees you some alone time away from the kids is a lifesaver. Of course, since Angie is a superstar, her hobby isn’t model trains or knitting — it’s flying an airplane.
And that’s just what the matriarch of the Jolie-Pitt clan was doing Thursday afternoon when she headed — without Brad Pitt or Shiloh… or Zahara… or Pax… or Maddox… or twins Knox and Vivienne — to the private Bob Hope Airport in Burbank to practice her takeoffs and landings in the small single-engine Cirrus SR22 plane that she owns.

The Jolie-Pitt Princesses Learn to Dance

Superstar mom Angelina Jolie took her two older girls, Shiloh and Zahara, to a Monday afternoon dance class at Creative Station in Studio City yesterday.
According to witnesses, Mom watched in delight as daughters took their first class in the “Princess Series Ballet/Tap,” which cost $17/hour per girl. Sources say she purchased a set of 10 classes for each girl.

Here’s a tip for Hollywood studios wishing to save some money on international shipments — just hand them off to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. From L.A. to Berlin to NYC to Tokyo, there’s a good chance they’ll be heading there soon.
In fact, the pair — and their six children — are jetting off to Japan Monday morning, only hours after Brad and Angie put in appearances at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night.
"Our kids are always packing," Angelina told Entertainment Tonight about globetrotting with six young children. "They like to pack; it’s a game in our house."
However, all that back and forth across time zones can wreak havoc with a family’s daily routine. "It can get very hard trying to find 20 minutes to close your eyes if you’ve been up since four in the morning," revealed Angie. But rather than trying to use sleep to make up for all the time differences they experience, she says, "We travel so much, we never have to adjust. We change school time to four in the afternoon in we have to!"
Meanwhile, both Brad and Angelina, who were still attempting in vain to hide her pregnancy this time last year, agree that it’s been a wonderful time for them since.
"We have two healthy little babies," says Angelina. "That’s made this the best year."
Jokes Brad: "At some point, we’ll sit down and take inventory!"

With an Oct. 1 premiere for his comedy Burn After Reading in Berlin and an Oct. 4 premiere for her drama Changeling in NYC, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are back to their globe-trotting ways — but only temporarily. The couple and their brood have happily settled into their new digs outside Berlin.
Angie and Brad, along with Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox, moved to the city’s southern Wannsee Lake neighborhood and are now ensconced in the Palais Parkschloss (Castle in the Park), a 12,000-square-foot villa set amid fairy-tale gardens overlooking the yacht-filled waters of the Wannsee.

The family is expected to stay three months while Brad shoots Quentin Tarantino’s World War II thriller Inglorious Bastards in Berlin and several other German and French locations.

“[We] are thrilled that they are nearby,’’ Brigitta Schmidt, 55, who lives down the street, tells OK!. “Normally the most exciting thing we see in Wannsee are roaming wild boars, but this is more exciting!”
The sexiest man alive and his trademark fedora were on display at Al Contadino Sotto Le Stelle on Sept. 24, where Quentin hosted a party for members of the Inglorious
Bastards cast.
“Brad really loved the Parma ham, mushrooms with cheese and eggplant antipasti,’’ restaurant owner Mimmo Bianco tells OK!. “It was a family atmosphere among the actors, and the thing you feel about Brad is what a warm, generous heart he has, how he just wants to be part of the gang.’’
Brad has similarly impressed his cast mates at rehearsals. “He brought Maddox to the set, and they were holding hands,’’ one co-star tells OK!. “They were cool dudes together.’’

There will be some special deliveries to the Jolie-Pitt children this Christmas — from none other than Santa himself. OK! has learned that Maddox, the eldest J-P child, has penned a letter to St. Nick on behalf of his younger siblings, asking for the jolly ol’ fella to fulfill the trio’s wish list.
So what did the 6-year-old request Santa to bring?
For little bro Pax, 4, Mad asked for an Elf DVD and remote-controlled cars because “Pax loves cars," a source tells OK!. Eighteen-month-old Shiloh is getting a doll and a couple of books while Zahara, 2, will doll up herself with princess dresses and a crying doll.
“Maddox doesn’t know why Z would want her toy to cry,” says the friend.
But don’t think Maddox forgot about himself! The generous big bro added in a post-script that he’d be open to Santa showering him with a few toys as well, particularly a remote-controlled dinosaur.
"He asked Grandma Jane [Pitt] for one, but he isn’t sure she’s going to buy it."

Angelina Pregnant Again?

Here’s hoping Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have already put an order in for a bigger bed.
Flaunting a conspicuously fuller figure at the Sept. 18 premiere of Brad’s flick The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, the 32-year-old raised many attendees’ eyebrows on the red carpet and at the after-party in Guastavino’s restaurant.
“She was glowing, her boobs were huge and you could see a tiny bump,” one guest reveals OK!.
Not only that, but the epicure shunned the flowing Italian vino that was flowing freely. A creature of habit, Angie has always been known to enjoy a glass of fine wine at all of her events, except this one. “I only saw her drinking Acqua Panna water with a slice of lime the entire evening,” the witness adds.
This would be the couple’s fifth child. Brad, 43, and Angie are already parents to Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 16 months.
