OK! Exclusive: Jamie Lynn & Maddie Home in Mississippi

Proud new mom Jamie Lynn Spears and her newborn daughter Maddie Briann Aldridge, returned home at 1:45 am Saturday morning.  And by "home," OK! can exclusively reveal that this means the Liberty, Mississippi, house the Zoey 101 star purchased last month to start her new life with fiancé Casey Aldridge and their baby.

It had been incorrectly reported by US Weekly and several other media outlets that baby Maddie had been taken back to Serenity, the Kentwood, Louisiana, estate owned by Jamie Lynn’s big sis Britney Spears. After all this is the house where Jamie Lynn grew up and where her mother Lynne Spears still resides. 

However, OK! has learned that many reporters and photographers fell victim to a well-choreograped ruse, which had Casey and Lynne drive back to Serenity with a Jamie Lynn look-alike in the back of the car, thus allowing mom and daughter to make their exit in private, driven separately by private security guards and escorted by state troopers back to their home in Liberty.

Jamie Lynn’s Baby Countdown!

As Britney Spears continues her recovery in L.A. — going to the gym,
the recording studio and taking occasional acting jobs (her guest appearances on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother could earn her an Emmy nod) — her little sis, Jamie Lynn Spears and her boyfriend Casey Aldridge have been preparing for the arrival of their baby girl.

They’ve moved into their new home in Liberty, Miss., the town where Casey grew up and most of his family still lives. It’s only 30 minutes from Kentwood, where mom Lynne Spears lives at Serenity, the estate Britney owns and where Jamie Lynn was raised.

The couple’s new $300,000 house has four bedrooms, a large yard and a swimming pool, something Jamie Lynn told OK! was an absolute essential.

"I love to swim," she said of her favorite exercise. Britney will get a tour of Jamie Lynn’s new home but will stay at Serenity with her mama, Lynne. Although she’d love to visit for an extended time, she’ll return to L.A. after just a few days.

"Britney will almost certainly have to juggle some of her visitations with her kids while she’s off seeing her sister and new niece," an insider tells OK!. "She’s not going to want to miss too many of those."

But don’t think the singer isn’t chomping at the bit to meet her new little niece!
Sources say Brit is set to hop on a chartered jet as soon as she knows that Jamie Lynn, is in labor and has already packed her bags.

Ever since Britney, 26, made a quick visit to her hometown of Kentwood, La., on May 3 for her 17-year-old sister’s baby shower, the girls have been in regular contact, mostly texting, about the pending birth of Jamie Lynn’s baby girl.

While there are no plans for Britney to be in the delivery room, she hopes to make it to Louisiana before Jamie Lynn delivers.

"As soon as she knows Jamie Lynn is in labor, Britney and her dad will be on a plane," a source close to the family tells OK!.

Jamie Lynn Celebrates Birthday with Fiancé

While most young women turn their 17th birthday into a bawdy bash to remember, OK! can report that America’s most famous pregnant teen, Jamie Lynn Spears, who rang in her last year as a minor on Friday, chose to spend that special day relaxing with fiancé and father of her baby, Casey Aldridge.

Jamie Lynn and Casey spent most Friday relaxing in his hometown of Gloster, Miss., a short drive from the Spears family home in Kentwood, La. Sources tell OK! the lovebirds stayed indoors for most of the big day, emerging later that evening only to make a quick shopping trip to a Wal-Mart supercenter in McComb, where they spent about an hour inside the store. And for a few minutes, the small-town charm of McComb, with its population of 13,500, suddenly began to resemble Hollywood, as local police were called in to keep back photographers and fans.

"Jamie Lynn looked super happy and kept smiling inside the Wal-Mart," one shopper tells OK!.

This was actually the second shopping trip in a two days for the mom-to-be. On Thursday, the Zoey 101 star and her beau were spotted holding hands and acting "lovey-dovey" as they strolled through a mall in McComb.

Jamie Lynn and Casey, 18, stopped inside Hibbits Sporting Goods Store, where Brit’s little sis sifted through the athletic gear, picking out a pair of sneakers for Casey, as well as a few pairs of trademark athletic running shorts that cost $7.98 each. She paid for all of her purchases herself, which totaled around $300.

Jamie Lynn’s Wedding Plans

If the delicate marquis-cut sparkler on her left ring finger says anything, it’s that Jamie Lynn Spears, who turns 17 on Friday, isn’t afraid to show off the evidence of her new engagement.

"Jamie Lynn and Casey are officially engaged," a friend of the teenage couple tells OK!. "They’re committed to each other and anxious to be the best parents they can possibly be, and also the best husband and wife they can be to each other."

The Zoey 101 star is expecting her first baby in late June with boyfriend Casey Aldridge, and is happily riding out the last months of her pregnancy with Casey by her side.

After announcing her pregnancy exclusively to OK! in December, Britney Spears‘ little sis has been busy lying low in her hometown of Kentwood, La. As OK! was the first to report, Jamie Lynn and a cousin recently registered for her baby shower at a Babies ‘R’ Us store in the nearby city of Baton Rouge.

And those closest to Jamie Lynn tell OK! the teen plans to stay true to her small-town roots, most likely exchanging vows with Casey in Kentwood at "Serenity," the estate owned by Britney — who obviously leads the list of possible bridesmaids.

"She’ll have the baby there, and soon after, she will also get married there," says a pal of the teen. "I expect she’ll want to wait at least several months to get her figure back so she can wear a beautiful wedding gown and then have her dream wedding."

Jamie Lynn & Casey: Making It Work

If Jamie Lynn Spears has learned anything from her older sister Britney, it’s not to live her life in the spotlight. The 16-year old star of Nickolodeon’s Zoey 101 is contemplating a new life behind the camera, now that she’s expecting her first baby with boyfriend Casey Aldridge. "She’s thinking she should get more behind the scenes," says a family friend. "She wants to try writing."

While mom Lynn cares for Britney in L.A., Jamie Lynn is finding a new sense of strength from her pregnancy and from Casey, 18. The two have been spotted all over her hometown of Kentwood, La. where witnesses say the pair are like any other couple in love.

"They’re adorable," says a Kentwood friend of the sweethearts who spotted them at an Autozone on Feb. 10. "They were so affectionate, constantly kissing one another. Casey is very much a gentleman — he even opens her car door. He is so attentive to her every need."

 

So is there a marriage in the works? Friends say definitely not now. Jamie Lynn is focusing on her pregnancy and preparing herself for motherhood. While studying for her G.E.D., she has also been taking care of the house while mom Lynn is in L.A.

Jamie Lynn & Casey: “Committed to Each Other”

Forget all the rumors you’ve heard regarding the relationship between young parents-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge. He hasn’t run off; they haven’t broken up; no one’s hiding from anyone. In fact, those closest to the couple reveal to OK! that the Zoey 101 star’s 18-year-old beau has marriage on his mind!

"They are fully committed to each other," Casey’s great-uncle, Pastor Odus Jackson of Galilee Baptist Church, tells OK!. "That’s how love goes. Jamie Lynn can have anyone she wants, and Casey is very popular too. But they keep on finding each other, and that makes me hopeful for their future. He wants to propose to her and get married!”

Since news of the 16-year-old actress’ unexpected pregnancy broke in late December, friends say the couple have been basically inseparable. “Jamie technically still lives with her mama," one source explains, "but she spends her free time with Casey." Which means the two lovebirds are constantly making the hour-long trek between her home in Kentwood, La., and his place in Gloster, Miss., where Casey is busy working hard to earn a living.
