'Man of Steel' Boasts Two Preview Trailers for New Superman
While we're still wrapping our heads around a slew of other super heros, a brand new sneak peek trailer from next summer's blockbuster, Man of Steel, hit theaters this weekend during previews for Dark Knight Rises.
The Superman remake stars Henry Cavill in the starring role and co-stars Russell Crowe, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane.
The story remains the same — an abandoned child from planet Krypton is adopted by a couple and grows up to be a journalist by day and crime fighter by night, and these preview snippets show scenes of Clark Kent as a fisherman, playing in a cape as a child and hitchhiking as a young man.
Voice overs by both Russell Crowe (who plays Superman's real father) and Kevin Costner (his adopted father) have their own trailer, each giving the young boy life advice in relation to his superhuman powers.
The last scene features a rather impressive few seconds of Superman, jetting through the blue sky and disappearing into the oblivion.
