Lady Gaga is the Queen of Twitter, and she rules it necessary to thank all of her followers who launched her there! The singing sensation usurped the title from fellow songstress Britney Spears and in honor of her new title, created a video thanking her "little monsters."
Gaga posted a video on Twitter over the weekend after learning she had passed Britney to become the most-followed person on the social networking service, with a whopping 5,747,227 followers!
Gaga's address: "Hello world, this is Lady Gaga, queen of Twitter...I wanted to thank all my beautiful little monsters for following me. Thank you for beginning my reign as Twitter queen...May you always have soft cuticles while tweeting. May you never have carpal tunnel...I vow never to partake in celebrity online shenanigans. And I vow to always tweet and tweet again."
