After three Emmy nominations for playing Dr. Benton on ER, Eriq La Salle went on to direct episodes of Law & Order: SVU and ER, and star in One Hour Photo. He recently returned to the show with fellow alums, George Clooney, Noah Wyle and Julianna Marguiles.
